Is a pig's ass pork? We sure did...pretty severe jolting and shaking/rattling -- with the added "enjoyment" of hearing sh*t hitting the floor all over the house.

Nothing broken here, however. Wifey and I jumped in the car to run and check the late parents' nearby home, which has been for sale. As luck would have it, Escrow opened just yesterday for a buyer and we were terrified that a big rift might have developed across the floor tiles....other than a couple of busted dinnerware things, the structure seemed OK. Fingers crossed....what sh*tty timing.

Palm Desert area here—that was a strong one.

La Quinta Cove checking in....scared the hell out of wifey (she gets traumatized ever since we got hammered in the Northridge thingie). We had a few things hit the floor, but the floor tile appears to have escaped uncracked.

Nope San Jacinto. It does intersect the San Andreas further north. All the activity just below that is on the Elsinore fault. All that is still a result of the Easter Victoria Mexico quake.

It's been a very seismically busy three months down here.

I felt nothing in San Marino, south of Pasadena. But everyone else at the office did??!! They said it was long and rolling, which figures, as we are about 100 miles west.

I am thankful to have missed it.
