NewsBusters reports that four members of the pro-life group Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust got their hands on free tickets to the Jimmy Kimmel Show the other night and caused enough of a disruption during taping that the police escorted them out. The youth group is trying to call attention to that fact that on June 25th, while peacefully picketing outside of Graumans Chinese Theatre, a film crew hired by the Kimmel Show turned a hot spotlight on one of their members, Ryan Bueler. It was an astonishing act of cruelty thats just now starting to make the rounds online.

Kimmel is a no talent bit thief.
“The Huffington Post cant quite bring themselves to condemn the act, and as if theyre proud of their unique ability to summon brazen hypocrisy, Fishbowl LA writes: Groups like these live for attention and we have mixed feelings about giving it to them. But the video does look pretty bad.”
You mean, groups like themselves? Boy, this is rich—pot, meet kettle.
Union goons. They WILL be the death of the U.S.

Light Crew seems very proud to suppress 1st Ammendment.
I don’t understand Kimmel’s appeal. He’s talentless.
Who is Jimmy Kimmel?

For an industry that touts it’s free speech how does Hollywood explain this?
Would have been handy to have a big mirror at that moment.

He is as untalented and annoying as Will Ferrell. I reside a few blocks away from the Highland and Hollywood “studio”, this douchebag attracts a lot of 20-somethings. He is literally across the Hollywood/Highland subway station at the Hollywood Walk of Fame. I spoke to 1 of these brainless zombies why they want to watch his show (this is at 3 pm taping for the “midnight’ show” and he said that Leno’s show in Burbank has no bus stop...which is true.
However, clearly there is an assault that occurred when someone tried - several times - to take the videographer's camera from them. That's a no-no. It's about a clear a case of simple assault as you can get. That person isn't caught on camera, which is too bad.
A chubby little substance abuser with tweezed eyebrows, from the looks of it. Some old acquaintance of Carson Daley's, probably.
I’d think the light attack might be a battery, not just an assault.
Quick, smart work by the pro life group who didn’t blog their heart out over one more injustice, but instead turned right around and gave it back, by raising enough hell to get thrown out of a live show over it and light a fire. Now there is some blinking going on to the measure of anarchy going on by the liberal socialist types who will burn eyes for a laugh. Smart kids, here.
It's possible that this is one of those "zoning violations" that has tens of thousands of dollars in fines.
One of the things you can do to defend yourself against light attacks is to come prepared with your own green pointer laser. 60 seconds will injure the human eye ~ but less than that can be doggone annoying and might well get someone equally armed (e.g. with those powerful UV frequency heating lamps) to depart the scene of battle.

Ben Stein’s sidekick on WIN BEN STEIN’S MONEY. I thought he was witty and funny there - haven’t seen him on Kimmel Live though....
LA city does issue permits for such a thing, and those permits are published in the trade journals. It wouldn't be difficult to find out if a permit was issued, but I have seen those notices for the "Jimmy Kimmel Show" before, so I imagine they obtained one in this instance.
'One of the things you can do to defend yourself against light attacks is to come prepared with your own green pointer laser."
Now, that would be assault, and there's case law to support such prosecution. In fact, many states have codified this in statutes enacted the last ten years. I would be shocked if California wasn't one of those states.
