Gulf Oil Cover Up: Underneath Gaping Chasm of Gulf Floor is a Mt Everest Sized Cavern
American Pendulum ^ | June 14, 2010 | F. William Engdahl

The Obama Administration and senior BP officials are frantically working not to stop the world’s worst oil disaster, but to hide the true extent of the actual ecological catastrophe. Senior researchers tell us that the BP drilling hit one of the oil migration channels and that the leakage could continue for years unless decisive steps are undertaken, something that seems far from the present strategy. [Click Photo to Enlarge]

In a recent discussion, Vladimir Kutcherov, Professor at the Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden and the Russian State University of Oil and Gas, predicted that the present oil spill flooding the Gulf Coast shores of the United States “could go on for years and years … many years.” [1]

According to Kutcherov, a leading specialist in the theory of abiogenic deep origin of petroleum, “What BP drilled into was what we call a ‘migration channel,’ a deep fault on which hydrocarbons generated in the depth of our planet migrate to the crust and are accumulated in rocks, something like Ghawar in Saudi Arabia.”[2] Ghawar, the world’s most prolific oilfield has been producing millions of barrels daily for almost 70 years with no end in sight. According to the abiotic science, Ghawar like all elephant and giant oil and gas deposits all over the world, is located on a migration channel similar to that in the oil-rich Gulf of Mexico.

As I wrote at the time of the January 2010 Haiti earthquake disaster,[3] Haiti had been identified as having potentially huge hydrocasrbon reserves, as has neighboring Cuba. Kutcherov estimates that the entire Gulf of Mexico is one of the planet’s most abundant accessible locations to extract oil and gas, at least before the Deepwater Horizon event this April.

Tough to believe when you have this:

Cantarell is continuing on its inevitable decline.

Mt Everest Sized Cavern

Now what kind of rock would support such a structure?

Is there any hope for people with BS?

I don't know. But it experienced a major (6.0) earthquake in this area in 2006.

Check out the location of the earthquake HERE.

Excerpt:

This is the largest of more than a dozen shocks that have been instrumentally recorded from the eastern Gulf of Mexico in the past three decades, and it is the most widely felt. The most recent significant earthquake in the region occurred on February 10th, 2006 and had a magnitude of 5.2. We have not associated this earthquake with a specific causative fault."

This is an unusual event because it is far removed from an active plate boundary.

No, most scientists are stuck on the dead dinosaur theory. Musta been lots of ‘em in the Gulf region.

Must be some kind of new material down there to support such a huge cavern.

Doesn't seem to show up on seismic recording either.

Plant, animal, bacterial, plankton, all contribute. There is NO evidence that the oil reservoir BP has drilled into is abiotic. Unless you count someone who expounds a crackpot theory saying so.

God help us, everyone.

Yep We could use His help about now.

This is the ultimate disaster movie nonsense applied to 'the unstoppable spill', (which was under control before some nitwit displaced the riser with seawater).

Of course, if the oil well somehow tapped into a "migration channel" from the core of the planet, the supply of "unstoppable oil" is suddenly inexhaustible as well.

It's a disaster freak/panic monger's wet dream.

Get a grip, please.

Only time, and a complete reeducation, and even then some people are never cured.

I noticed you used the word “hope”.

One way to tell when someone is contaminated with BS, is when they use the words “hope” and “change” in the same sentence.

Wait a minute??????

"Doesn't seem to show up on seismic recording either."

That was my immediate thought. Any "cavern" ought to stick out like the proverbial "sore thumb" in a 3D seismic profile.

it could burst. there is more than oil coming out from under the mantle. there are rocks plus sand that act as abrasives and the pressures of oil leak is tremendous.

Plants and animals died out, and continue to die out, at a constant rate with the exception of mass extinctions. That would beg the question, why isn't there oil everywhere? Why just in pockets, reservoirs, shafts and vents?

Sorry to burst peoples bubbles, but, the “fossil fuel” theory is coming to an end. And so is the “power” and “riches” of those who used it for their own purposes. If that sounds like a “conspiracy” theory, maybe so. But we've experienced worse conspiracies including the Obamanation we are living in.
