How many decisions do these lazy bastards make a year? How slow do they think? These are our best?
This was brought up on one of the FNC's shows yesterday. One of the commenters mentioned that the USSC in the late 1800s was making around 140 decisions a year and that in the 1980s they were making 140 decisions. This court is averaging something like 70.
I don't have the exact dates and numbers that were quoted by the commenter but the above is close to what was said.
