AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, serving humanity simply by showing up, and hes not retiring until every American agrees with him, do NOT doubt him, with shrieks of joy at the mere mention of his name (thats Rush, for those in Rio Linda),the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, all-concerned Maha-Rushie! Americas anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A Real Man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander in Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. Leader of the Conservative Movement. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to dothats host. Get ready to what you were born to dothats listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

"Beck comes pretty close to being an Illuminati kook, Im not surprised one of his producers is." Beck is wet behind the ears on all that conspiracy-theory kook stuff. He'll have to back away from it soon if he hopes to retain credibility with sensible people.
I remember Rush talking about coming across that stuff at the beginning of his radio career and being impressed by it at first. He said it didn't take him long to realize how ridiculous it is, and like Buckley, he rejected the Birchers and distanced himself from them and other right-wing extremists (Lindon La Rouche, Lew Rockwell, Alex Jones, et.al., types)

Isn’t ironic that the Gun Rights decision, with its racial history, comes down on the day of Sheets’ demise.

And more on the JUST the connection of Anna Deavere Smith, the University of Penn and the RATS:
http://www.factcheck.org/
Factcheck.org is a project of The Annenberg Public Policy Center of the University of Pennsylvania (bottom of the page)
Our Funding
Prior to fiscal 2010, we were supported entirely by three sources: funds from the APPCs own resources (specifically an endowment created in 1993 by the Annenberg Foundation at the direction of the late Walter Annenberg, and a 1995 grant by the Annenberg Foundation to fund APPCs Washington, D.C., base); additional funds from the Annenberg Foundation; and grants from the Flora Family Foundation. We do not seek and have never accepted, directly or indirectly, any funds from corporations, unions, partisan organizations or advocacy groups.
In 2010 we began accepting donations from individual members of the public for the first time, responding to many unsolicited offers of support from our subscribers. We launched our first public appeal for donations in April 2010.
At that time we also decided to disclose our finances in greater detail, so that our readers may judge for themselves whether or not any of those individual donations could influence us. Our first such disclosure will be made in early July 2010 and will cover the 12 months ending June 30, the end of our fiscal year. We will make quarterly disclosures every three months thereafter and provide an annual summary at the end of each fiscal year.
We will disclose the total amount received from individuals during the period, the number of gifts and their average size, and the largest amount received from any single donor. We will itemize any gifts that total $1,000 or more from any single individual, identifying the name and location of the giver.

Okay...I'm just gonna stop. I think I may take the blue pill and go back into a blissful ignorance of illusion...
I did a little more connecting, taking the President of University of Chicago, Robert Zimmer, and the President of Pennsylvania, Amy Gutmann and it led me to the page of the
Coucil on Competitiveness.
Reading on that website took me to this article,
President Obama Taps Council Leaders to Advise on Science and Technology
In a historic speech at the National Academy of Sciences Monday, April 27, President Obama named two Council on Competitiveness members to the Presidents Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST) and announced his support for increased investment in scientific research, a key policy that has enjoyed strong and consistent support from the CEOs, university presidents and labor union leaders who comprise the Council.
Now THERE is a triumvirate! CEOs, University Presidents and Labor Union Leaders!

I’m shocked that a corrupt Democrat would seek to disarm law abiding citizens. Of course, it was to PROTECT them from violent criminals! Somewhere there is a compilation of citizens who were murdered, who might have had a chance against their attackers, had they been armed.
