I live close to Ft Hood in Killeen, Tx and surprised how many of the Army enlisted and officers are Obama supporters.

McChrystal has been known for quite some time in Army circles as a major progressive/leftist. Beleive it or not, there are such things in the military, though they are a minority. He has also had a good reputation as a warfighter, though some of his leadership skills have been called into question.
That’s the ten gazillion dollar question, isn’t it.

Lest our side rest on it’s laurels either, that goes for McCain too. Voting this guy in to be our nominee was a lifetime act of shame in my book.

The General demonstrated low moral character, poor judgement, and complete stupidity.
He voted for the known Mooslime, Commie, Chicago thug, doper, who isn’t even a Natural Born Citizen. He doesn’t belong in the military.
You would be surprised how many officers are Democrats. It is the belief on Free Republic that everyone in the military is a Republican and that is not even remotely true. Although it does make people feel better saying such thing and really it does not hurt anything when FREEPERS claim this. Enlisted members are probably more Republican than Officers IMHO. Of course I will be blasted for this statement by some but I do have proof on my side from the MANY officers who have retired and state their true beliefs as a Democrat.
