First they elect Clinton and now THIS?!?!

Clinton was at the game.

I'm sure if Obama was there, the Obama Curse would have struck and we would have lost.

Right final 8, we should have gone to the semis. But it was 2002.

You’re right even the NBA officiating compares favorably.

These refs are total clowns. And from the sound it they’re been blowing World Cup calls forever.

The second place team of Group D, which plays this afternoon. Could be Germany, Serbia, Ghana, but very very outside chance for Australia. All up for grabs there:

Ghana-Germany
Serbia-Australia

Current standings
Team Pts
Ghana 4
Germany 3
Serbia 3
Australia 1

Well hopefully the Germans finish at the top of their group so we avoid them in the next round.

If they tie with Ghana, and Serbia and Australia tie, they most likely would finish second, and we would have to face them.

So NO TIES!!!!

Algeria 0, referee 1, USA 2.
We’re getting to the quarterfinals, at least.

Uh no!

I was referring to “IF” the WC was being held in Western hemisphere where the time differential would be minimal that we could have prime time games where the ratings would shatter the records being set right now. I was NOT asking/insisting/requesting/etc. to start games in South Africa at who knows when for our prime time viewing convenience.
