AIP-endorsed congressional candidate Bill Randall will apparently be the winner tonight in the NC-13 run-off election.
Congratulations Bill!

Well, according to Eternal Vigilance, it does. My comment was a poke at him because he's always running with his third party nonsense (he is the founder or something of yet another third party), and is trying to drum up business).
The story that leads off this thread shows clearly that that is simply a lie.
To believe you one has to ignore the fact that America's Independent Party supports Bill Randall.
And Sharron Angle.
And Jim Anderson.
And Dan Gilyeat.
And David Powell.
And Tom Shaw.
And Jim Rutledge.
And Doug Hoffman.
And Don Dwyer.
And others.
You continue to ignore the fact that America's Independent Party makes its affiliations and endorsements based on adherence to the founding principles of this free republic, not on something so trivial as a party label.
LMAO! That is outstanding. :D
Dude, you are such a sellout RINO...
Veryt nice man. glad he won and hope he can replace Miller.

LOL I miss Vernon. My son worked for his campaign.
It’s a shame that you don’t know the difference between a republican and a Republican.
RINO!
Why don’t you give us your definition of what a republican is, and then I’ll give mine later when I come back.
I am pretty well informed regarding electoral matters across the nation, but the only AIP-endorsed candidates that you listed of whom I’ve heard are Bill Randall, Sharron Angle and Doug Hoffman. Who are the others?
(Hint: I’m pulling your chain)
Well, gentlemen, I obviously stepped into an ongoing personal quarrel. My apologies.
The AIP may or may not have endorsed these candidates. I am NOT a Republican. I AM thankful that there are a FEW Republicans left that still remember the Founders and they are willing to stand up for the Principles they gave us, and the Constitution they constructed to preserve our liberties.
Third party, no party, no matter to me. Liberty is the important thing.

Well, the "personal quarrel" involves a difference of opinion as to how best to pursue constitutional conservative goals.
For instance, I would quibble with your statement that there are "a few" Republicans left who still remember the Founders, etc.
Entirely false.
Don't characterise the entire Party on the basis of a few Senators, Representatives, and insider hacks who are more interested in party and personal power over principle. This CERTAINLY doesn't apply to the millions of rank and file Republicans who are just as concerned about the Constitution and the future of liberty as you or Eternal Vigilance are. Throwing around broad-brush statements like that is simply insulting to people who are every bit as conservative and constitutional as yourself.
The question is: how best to advance constitutional conservatism?
EV's answer is to go third party, which I view to be splitting up conservative efforts, diluting the movement, and ultimately deadening our ability to advance our common goals.
My answer is for constitutional conservatives to take the GOP back from the insider hacks and the RINOs by whatever (moral and ethical) means necessary. The tossing out of Bennett in Utah, and his now replacement by Mike Lee, while touted as a "Tea Party" move, is in reality a choice that was made by - and only by - registered Republicans. Mike Lee's victory is my plan for the GOP in action. Same goes for Nikki Haley, Tim Scott, Sharon Angle, and every other constitutional conservative who is running AS A REPUBLICAN because REPUBLICANS chose them over the hacks and establishmentarians.
:)
Great post.
Personhood pro-life, peace through strength, pro-natural family, pro-Constitution, moral conservative, Reaganites. All of them.
Right. I should have known it wouldn't be possible to actually draw you into a conversation about actual principles, or the practical means to get our country back.
