McChrystal’s “rules of engagement” in Afghanistan leave a lot to be desired. I hope he goes out telling that limp-wristed wussy that he meant every word he said. (He reviewed them first- He obviously meant for them to be heard.) Still, I hope that he goes out.

I would like to know what his core beliefs are before I promoted his candidacy, myself. There are senior officers who have stepped into politics under both the liberal and conservative banners.
