I only bothered because you seemed to know precisely *nothing* about this topic...

am only in search of truth-sometimes I come across inaccuracies( or appparent ones), and am only challenging for more clarity on the matter-have been reading alot 'bout eligibility subject since late OCT. 08. have logged the hundreds of hours of info processing you refer to

re.rank stuff: a little jocular reference to "rank and file" .

You are right to demand proof when dealing with brithers.

They very often just make things up. Alternatively, they will hear a something that someone else just made up, credulously accept its truth, and continue to repeat it over and over again as if it were a fact, when it's not.

Here are some examples of made up "facts" that birthers here continue to repeat uncritically: 1)that Obama's Indonesian-born half sister has a Hawaiian COLB 2)that McCain made a copy of his birth certificate available to the public 3) that the Senate held hearings on McCain's eligibility, and that he submitted a copy of his BC into evidence 4) that there was a US travel ban on Pakistan when Obama traveled there 5) that Obama and his half sister at one point stated he was born in Queens hospital 6)that Obama's grandmother said he was born in Kenya 7) that other members of his family say he was born in Kenya.

None of the above claims has ever been substiantiated. Some of them have been disproven. Nevertheless, you will see birthers repeating them again and again as if they were facts.

And that's just a sampling. There are many more examples where those came from.

A more recent example: Ron Pollard (a.k.a. Polarik) photoshopped an image of a COLB proporting to be Obama's that has many discrepancies from the one Obama released in 2008. Some birthers took Polarik's word for it that this new COLB was genuine, and began citing the discrepancies as "proof" that the original one Obama released was forged. Polarik later admitted that the new COLB wasn't real, but some birthers continue to cite it as if it were real.

In short, don't believe anything a birther says unless he provides documentation.
