Victoria is the future Queen of Sweden, being the eldest child of King Carl Gustav and Queen Silvia.

I am pleased to see just how lovely and simple Victoria’s dress is. And so traditionally Swedish in feel. The wedding tiara of Cameos is extremely beautiful, and in the form of the traditional Swedish head dress.

The ceremony was high Lutheran.

Just my opinion as a female: The tiara is hideous. While all of the other “royals” are dripping in diamonds Victoria is wearing pearls and cameos in yellow gold. It looks cheap.

Thanks for the ping. Stunning dress and I love the simplicity of it. I hope, with the 8 years of turmoil this couple has gone through, their marriage will be a happy one.

He was the athletic trainer for Princess Victoria. You don't marry the help. Seriously, the help.

Of course, Norway is worse. Crown Prince Haakon married an unwed mother, the father of whose child was a drug dealer. While no one in my family has worked for royalty in nearly 100 years, I am just applaed by the collapse of European Royalty and sense of propriety. The Hapsburg's may have been famously foolish at times, by I can't imagine them allowing anything like this.
