Victoria is the future Queen of Sweden, being the eldest child of King Carl Gustav and Queen Silvia.
I am pleased to see just how lovely and simple Victoria’s dress is. And so traditionally Swedish in feel. The wedding tiara of Cameos is extremely beautiful, and in the form of the traditional Swedish head dress.
The ceremony was high Lutheran.

I LOVE her dress. Always thought Diana’s was nothing short of hideous. This one really IS regal.
From clips I’ve seen on TV and photos, it is apparent that the Lesbian Lutheran Archbishop of Stockholm’s objection to what she considered the outdated male chauvinistic practice of the father giving away the bride was disregarded. It also appears that the Arch-B was not the one presiding at the service. Whether that was because she was in a snit, had to stay home to take care of the kid she and her lesbian partner in some way have, or the King told the Archbishopess to “f’off” is not clear, but it was a beautiful traditional wedding and nobody was singing Kumbaya.
