You know, you’re right. Either gold doesn’t work on TV or (more likely) it just doesn’t work with white.
Gold with an ivory dress would have been better, I guess.

Well, apparantly that was an ivory dress, so shows what I know.

I believe the Cameo Tiara was worn by her mother, at her wedding to her father, exactly 34 years ago to the day.

From clips I’ve seen on TV and photos, it is apparent that the Lesbian Lutheran Archbishop of Stockholm’s objection to what she considered the outdated male chauvinistic practice of the father giving away the bride was disregarded. It also appears that the Arch-B was not the one presiding at the service. Whether that was because she was in a snit, had to stay home to take care of the kid she and her lesbian partner in some way have, or the King told the Archbishopess to “f’off” is not clear, but it was a beautiful traditional wedding and nobody was singing Kumbaya.

Oh my! Isn’t she beautiful! Where do these Swedish princesses get this lovely dark hair? I read elsewhere that she married a commoner — not common looking, however.
Please add me to your ping list.

Mr Westling, 36, who now becomes HRH Prince Daniel, Duke of Vastergotland.Prince Gotvasterland is more like it. However, they do look happy. I hope it all goes well for them.

I love the cameo tiara — it’s museum-quality, historic, elegant and unique. This isn’t the Miss America pageant, ladies. Now THAT’s cheap.

Classy, elegant & modest. No boos, no tats. She looks lovely.
Diana’s dress was really ugly....just my opinion.

I LOVE her dress. Always thought Dianas was nothing short of hideous. This one really IS regal. IMHO the most beautiful wedding dress of a royal or royal-to-be was the one worn by Grace Kelly.
