You trust the government to torture people (we'd be first on their list) far more than I do and, then again, there's that pesky constitutional provision about cruel and unusual punishment. Do you want to repeal that?
I just want to redefine what “cruel and unusual punishment” is considered.
I don’t believe, in any form, that any method chosen by an offender to mete out punishment on an innocent can possibly be considered either “cruel or unusual punishment” when used on the person who did the crime. After all, if he thought it was cool for use on the innocent, how can’t he consider it cool to be used on him, three-fold over?
It’s simple logic.
