Nay, they only dump on him on the weekends when folk are busy, come Monday they’ll be crowing over the DEAR LEADER again. By Monday morning they’ll revert back to the “BUSH FAULT” mantra to cover for their communist boob’s butt! The mediaPUKES have made a pact with the muslim Devil and they are going to stick to it...count on it!!

Even the NY Slimes allows the light of truth to illuminate reality. Never happen. They're just dissing him a bit to set up his "comeback."
Reality is that both Obama and the Slimes are committed to a Soviet America.

Yep! I’ve been on the road since Weds and I’ve heard more “It takes a spillage” jokes on the radio than I’ve seen “O” bumper stickers on cars (that would also be “0”!). Unlike the slick, they’ve vanished! Saw one John Kerry sticker, though...

Every President has a honeymoon period with most Americans.
George W. Bush, and any pubbie for that matter, get maybe two months.
The 'anointed' one gets eighteen months ...

On one side is America fickle and excitable, hotheaded and prone to overreaction, easily frightened and in constant need of reassurance. That's actually a very accurate description of a liberal American. I doubt this guy knows any conservatives...

The 'anointed' one gets eighteen months ... Heh... since the oil spill, he really IS the 'anointed' one. I really hope that whoever runs against him has the sense to run his "This is the moment our planet began to heal" speech with pictures of the spill spreading in the Gulf.

"Desperate to escape eight-years of an abusive relationship with a reckless cowboy and scared by a calculating John McCain who chose a feckless running mate, America was charmed by Obamas supernal speeches and inspired by his vision of a happier ever after."
Abusive relationship with a reckless cowboy? Scared by a strong woman? Charmed by the supernal Obama? Somebody needs to buy Charles Blow some extra KY for the next two years of romance with BHO.

That's quite a load of BS.
Ships and experts from the North Sea could have been there in 72 hours to fix the problem. Obama said no.
Obama is lazy, incompetent and arrogantly stupid. And everyone he hired is at a level worse than that.
When Black Americans who voted for him call that racism, screw them too.
We are without a president for 2 and a half years.

Since we’re discussing metaphors, how about B.O. is the self-proclaimed suave playboy with a trunk full of date rape drugs. But some of his victims are waking up afterwards and realizing what happened to them. In addition, the drugs aren’t as powerful as he thought.

“President Obamas relationship with America, like many a young marriage, is growing sour.”
Sobering up after a drunken, kool-aid fueled Vegas wedding, America wants an annulment based on irreconcilable differences and alienation of affection.
Better yet since the groom is a fraudulent usurper the marriage was never legal to begin with.
To: lbryce
like many a young marriage, is growing sour. You gotta luv the gratuitous slime balls libs throw
To: lbryce
No matter how ‘sour’, he will still get the same percentage of black votes, the same percentage (or more) of Hispanic, the same number of Jewish, etc. It is a disease.

Desperate to escape eight-years of an abusive relationship with a reckless cowboy and scared by a calculating John McCain who chose a feckless running mate, America was charmed by Obamas supernal speeches and inspired by his vision of a happier ever after. This klown is too stupid to live.

Charles Blow is commenting about other people's disillusionment (polls, pundit reactions, etc.). What little he divulges of his personal evaluation of The Won is that he's still a gung-ho supporter.

Blow, you have defined NPD:
On the other side stands Obama solid and sober, rooted in the belief that his way is the right way and in no need of alteration. Hes the emotionally maimed type who lights up when hes stroked and adored but shuts down in the face of acrimony. Other peoples anxieties are dismissed as irrational and unworthy of engagement or empathy. He seems quite comfortable with this aspect of his personality, even if few others are, and shows little desire to change it. Its the height of irony: the presumed transformative president is stymied by his own unwillingness to be transformed. He would rather sacrifice the relationship than be altered by it.
The article is flawed, but Blow hits the nail on the head right there. Very perceptive appraisal of the narcissist-in-chief.
