Politics: The Democratic Senate candidate from South Carolina is not a GOP dirty trick but an appropriate representative of a party detached from reality. An incoherent and off-the-wall empty suit, he is a perfect fit.
Late Thursday night, the South Carolina Democratic Party's Executive Committee rejected a protest of the June 8 primary for U.S. Senate, in which Alvin Greene, who has a felony arrest for showing porn to college girls, defeated Vic Rawl, a former state representative and judge.
Greene has been declared the party's legitimate nominee, much to the chagrin of MSNBC's Chris Matthews, whose leg no longer tingles when President Obama speaks, and others.
Matthews asked guests: "Do you think this has the look of a dirty trick sort of a Watergate number?"
After all, how could a Democratic electorate that put a community organizer in the White House make such a mistake?

He’s one up on Obama; he had a job for 13 years in the Air Force.
I wonder that , myself. Bad manners, sexual harassment...but how is this a crime, or a serious one at that.

The girl and her mother were on TV and gave an interview. She was maybe 19 when he showed her some porn on a library computer and then asked if he could go to her room. She was a dumpy white chick and seemed sort of slow. She told her mother about it and her mother had her file a police report. They just seem like a couple of petty little women milking the event of whatever attention they could get. I guess this surpasses all their expectations. Certain reeks of Jim Crow and all that. What was alleged was boorish, rude, crude and ungentlemanly, but nothing that, imho, should be a crime.
democrats are always trying to dumb down their voters, now they’re complaining of the results.
Maybe we should try to get more DNC candidates to run with names like Michael Jordan or Steve Wonder.
The dormitory, a freshman facility, Bates Hall, does have a card swipe lock system for the front door and a security desk inside.
“I can’t even get in,” Susan McCoy said. “I have to beat on the door to get someone’s attention.”
Yet Greene not only apparently had a card that worked - possibly his own student ID from several years before - but he was able to get past the security desk and go into an area that was supposed to be safe from the general public.”

Sounds as though Greene may be considerably smarter than most people think he is. He didn’t have any problem getting past security.
When she’s good, she’s really good. And that’s really good.
