NJ Gov Chris Christie approval rating rises to 51 percent

The latest Rasmussen poll has New Jersey Governor Chris Christie with his head above water at a 51 percent approval rating. This is a signifcant uptick, as teachers unions in the state have carpet bombed the airwaves with $6 million in ads attacking him since March. In April, his approval rating in one poll sank as low as 33 percent.

However, Rasmussen still finds the Governor a polarizing figure in the Garden State, even if the majority of the state is coming around:

A new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely New Jersey Voters shows that 51% approve of how the new Republican governor is doing his job, while 45% disapprove. This includes 33% who Strongly Approve and 31% who Strongly Disapprove.

Sadly, most Americans are too shallow to elect a fat guy.

I’m really starting to love this guy.

I expected him to cave as most who win in liberal states do. Or as many in conservatives states do as well.

Maybe he can’t be consider for the Presidency yet but that is for New Jersey’s benefit. They’ve needed someone like him to clean the state out for awhile.

for that to be true, and it is, it means that we are a shallow, shallow country who has been educated by the TV set, beginning with Twiggy.

Are they? I’m not convinced. This guy has plenty of charisma. That counts for a lot. He also holds himself as a Leader which after Obama I tend to believe there are a number of people who’d be open to a no nonsense charismatic leader who could actually lead on a platform of clean government and job creation. There are different types of fat men too. This one looks like he could rip a criminal in two. Fair or not the public responds to that image better then to those who look like they will keel over walking up a flight of stairs.

If substance won elections, we would not have Barack Hussein Obama leading this country.

I hope the situation changes. Christie is great.

Well considering all the state employees and those on state assistance who strongly oppose our new Governor, I think those numbers are pretty darn good. Christie Rocks!!!

Apparently the Paraquat in the 70’s didn’t do the job. It just made them more loony.

Unfortunately, the fatso gubmint employee (state AND local) and teachers unions (and their families) HATE Christie and want him lynched. This is what I hear from my cousins, who are in said categories.
