"We love all the children of this community. We love the teachers … We even love the wayward members of the school board," Barber said Wednesday. "We love them enough to correct them, to challenge them, to pray for them. But we're not going anywhere."

When it comes to school, there’s no place like home.

Regardless of social status, wealth, or ancestry, nobody will love your children more than you will.

That is, of course, if you are a real parent.

Just imagine if members of the National Association of White People locked arms at a school board meeting and attempted to disrupt it while pushing for an end to busing.

They would be prosecuted for hate crime.

It’s culture.

Not race.

And with the current culture in certain elements of society, it does not matter who’s bussed to their schools.

Besides, do you want your kids to turn out like the Obamaloon?

You and I could teach those kids to read and add. The government just doesn’t care; they want ignorant and easily directed masses.

Barber needs to spend more time in the gym and less time disrupting Wake County school board meetings.

We love all the children of this community

Apparently you don't love the ones that are trying to get away to where they have a shot at a good education. Public school aside.

The NAACP needs to grow up. Your stupidity is no longer applicable.

schools serving the area in which they located is the ideal. Busing has played a significant role in the fall of public education.

Here’s the nut of their argument -

poor black kids can’t learn unless they’re sitting next to rich white kids.

Racist? Yep. On their part.

Yes, it IS their culture that is the problem. And until that little non-PC truth is addressed, their kids will continue to not be educated and end up in poverty, in jail, and with little welfare bastards running around.

There was a movie involving a restaurant/food service of some sort.
A bus pulled up and a whole bunch of fatties got off and were entering the store.
One employee leans over to another and says
“uh, oh - professionals”

What do these short-sighted, race-baiters want? To bus 5 and 6 year-olds clear across town, all in the mythic pursuit of ‘diversity’? Children that are properly prepared and eager to learn will learn regardless of the location. Instead of blaming the location of the schools for the academic failures in their community, these ‘community leaders’ should take a good, hard look at their children’s homes(and I use this term QUITE loosely). A child’s homelife provides the foundation for not just education but the rest of their lives.

Is it any wonder a high percentage of their young people have criminal records and/or are residents of their state’s penal system? Quit blaming geography...look in the mirror.

All the more reason to keep your children out of the government schools.

The less government in our lives, the better, and that applies ESPECIALLY to the humanistic, socialistic, collectivist programming, which is the prime directive of the tax-funded, union-run government schools.

The government school is better understood as the Bus Ministry of the State Church of Collectivist Humanism.

School districts are better understood when using their Marxian moniker, “School Collectives”.
