'Ultimately everything will be governed by federal authorities' The online Encyclopedia of Mental Disorders says "behavior modification," a controversial psychological treatment, can be accomplished through positive reinforcement or "punishment" – and now President Obama has signed an executive order specifying the treatment for all Americans, to be prescribed by government bureaucrats.
Obama's order appoints members to a new government committee set up by the Democrats' new health law that will evaluate, make recommendations about and establish rules for everything from how people exercise to whether they smoke to the food they eat and the medicines they use. And it specifically requires the committee list the priorities for "lifestyle behavior modification" that the government will pursue.

Obama either knows his behavior boot-on-neck won’t pass,but is going through the motions anyway to appease his grumpy left to demonstrate to them that this can’t fly, or, if this a serious exercise, then he must believe there really are enough Van Jones in high places to do another cram down with more to come. This is just too big to ignore, and except for grumblinging against Obama the American voters seem to be remaining docile. Where have we seen that before?
And don’t think our enemies aren’t taking note of exactly that. Hell, they already see him floundering around on the oil in the Gulf...they know he isn’t up to dealing with a foreign enemy. He has been tried and found desperately inadequate. He will be tried again...and the heat will be turned up much higher than before.
