He’s a democrat. He will not resign or be forced out of office even if he sets a school bus full of kindergarteners on fire, while raping an entire girl scout troop, while eating a bowl full of live puppies, accepting a million dollar bribe, and waterboarding a gaggle of nuns, all while on live television.
I don’t believe that. No matter what Etheridge thinks of himself, the Dem leadership will have him around only for as long as he is useful to their cause. Just look at Chris Dodd, who has been around a lot longer than Etheridge.
