I bet his opening remarks in the meeting take about 15 minutes. He's not interested in dialogue. He's not interested in talking with people who clearly are smarter and more knowledgeable than he is.

I think it’s his passive aggression against Palin. After she publicized the fact he hadn’t met the BP honchos he hastily scheduled a meeting. Keeping it this short is his way of telegraphing to Palin that she can spur the meeting but she can’t force him to spend more time than he jolly well pleases.
