This is why conservatives can't invest too much in any operation designed to reach out to Blacks: they just won't listen.

Imagine if a black guy won a republican primary over a white incumbant and the white guy tried to pull this same crap.

I’m STILL waiting for Chrissy “leg-tingle” to accuse democrats of RAAAACISM in the Greene trashing. Guess I’ll need to get another Coke, pack of cigarettes and bag of Doritos. I’m just SURE it’ll be any time now.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Why hasn't it dawned on anyone that S.C. simply voted for the Black Guy!

Not the first time.

Here’s what happened in SC. At the risk of political correctness. Blacks make a majority of SC Democrat primary voters and they merely selected one of their own. How difficult is that to comprehend?

The Democrats keep treating Mr. Greene as if he is some 80-IQ dunce, a Forrest-Gump-like character.

Here are some of the actual facts, if you are to believe Wikipedia:

Greene holds an advanced degree in Political Science, and stands as a decorated United States veteran who served in the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force before receiving an involuntary honorable discharge in 2009. He is currently unemployed and lives with and cares for his father[4] in Manning, roughly halfway between Columbia and Charleston.[5]

He graduated from Manning High School in 1995 and received a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of South Carolina in 2000.[7][8] He served as an intelligence specialist and a unit supply specialist in the U.S. Army[9] and has served in the Air Force and Army national guards. He has received the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Air Force Good Conduct Medal, the Korea Defense Service Medal, and the National Defense Service Medal.[10] Greene received an honorable but involuntary discharge from the Army in 2009 for failure to maintain body weight standards and has been unemployed since.[9]

Quite a bit different from the picture the Democrats and the liberal media are trying to paint of this man.

"He was mysteriously kicked out of the military": He couldn't meet weight standards, but had a long and decorated career, so the Army let him go with an honorable discharge.

"He lives at home in his parent's basement": He is caring for his sick father

"He is an idiot": He was an Army Intelligence Specialist

"He's stupid": He holds an advanced college degree.

His real fault is that he doesn't seem to be able to speak very well, so he comes off as ignorant or slow. I guess if he was Biden's "articulate black guy", everything would be fine. But his career seems more accomplished than that of President Obama, if you ignore winning elections. He has certainly done more for his country than Obama ever did.

If Greene had ‘community organizer’ on his resume’, he could be president.

If you , as Dems, look at, and treat, “blacks” as a monolithic group, why should “they” listen? If “you” would come into the neighborhoods speaking and showing truths, maybe you’d get somewhere.

If you are speaking to our FREEP community, consider the makeup of your audience. You must be a troll.

Utilizing a libtard perspective, I'd say Mr. Greene is the next logical step for president. He is Obama without the "clean and articulate" attributes.

“Quite a bit different from the picture the Democrats and the liberal media are trying to paint of this man.”

Beyond the qualifications that you indicate, Greene has accomplished a first in a senate primary. I believe he is the first person ever nominated with essentially no campaign spending. He paid $10,500 to get on the ballot but I do not think that he raised any money for the nomination. He has taken money out of politics, a goal of the left. He should be put on a pedestal for this grand lesson. Money is no longer necessary in politics!

The story is that nobody knew who he was, how would they know he is black?

You are correct, and that is the big mystery. The guy literally never left his house except to put up a few flyers. No, rallies, meetings, nothing. No one on election day had any idea who he was period, let alone if he was black or white.

If he's everything you say he is and I'm not doubting your stats, he must be afflicted with some sort of mental illness. I've heard his (non) interviews. He appears to be a dunce.

Thanks for Post #8. I had only heard the “AP Party lines” (e.g., ‘mysteriously kicked out of the Army’, ‘stupid’, etc).

Mr Greene proves one of two things :

Everyone hates his opponent enough to elect “Anyone.. just not who we have” (Which is in-line with the sentiment this November and their “No more incumbents” initiatives)

or...

The voting system there is as fraudulent as everyone says it is. It just didn’t fraud out the right results for the historically corrupt and crooked Democrat party.

He could just be a lousy public speaker, or maybe he had some accident while in the military.

Now, I wouldn’t discount the possibility of his college degree being one of those affirmative-action things, but I don’t think the military uses idiots as intelligence officers.

I’ve heard some of his interviews, and he’s pretty bad. But an interpretation of his speech that seems plausible is that he is unsure of his public speaking, afraid to say anything wrong, so he’s thinking very carefully about what he is asked, and is answering in simple, short sentences so as not to get tripped up.

The answers I’ve heard him give are at least cogent answers to the questions he is asked — it’s not like he’s babbling on nonsensically like, say, Harry Reid or Robert Byrd, or as the President sometimes does when he’s not on teleprompter.

I’ll say this — he’s talking as well as Senator Tim Johnson was talking after his medical problems, and the Democrats didn’t push to have him thrown out of office because he was incompetent. They also kept Kennedy when he was essentially a vegetable.

he is higher on the IQ charts than Barbara Boxer, Debbie Stabenow, AND Herb Kohl combined.

He speaks better and more coherently than Teddy the Swimmer.

He also has a cleaner mouth than Present Hussein and John F’in Kerry (he served in Viet Nam, btw).
