I think it’s more than 3.9.
I never feel anything under a 5.0 and it was a far away.

Surprised your cat didn’t turn up “missing” a half hour beforehand. They say lots of cats meet this fate. I’m sure Coyotes like earthquakes.

“this is no $hit” as they say in the Navy...
@9:28pm was sitting watching my DVD player (”24” season two) and felt mild swaying...
said to hubby EARTHQUAKE, he replied “yeh, yeh, yeh,”
so I pointed to the chimes on a little stand, they were swaying back and forth...
He said “alright I believe you...”
I said “6 pointer, 200 miles away... its near Baja.
He said “do you have a radio on?”
I said “No, just estimating”
Got onto USGS just now...
U know the rest...

Exactly how I felt it in Chula Vista. Little bitty movement and then bang. Very short though unlike the big one last month.

I think its more than 3.9. I never feel anything under a 5.0 and it was a far away. The USGS web site is reporting 3.9, yet the USGS data reported thru Google Earth is reporting 5.9. These guys need to check their computer programming.

Well, my earthquake software for the iPad said 5.9 then crashed the software. A second earthquake software program said 3.4 near the border.
I would not feel a 3.4 that far away.
