Radio talk show host Mark Levin interviews US Senate candidate Alvin Greene (D-SC) about his campaign, his pornography scandal, if he is a GOP plant and what he hopes to achieve if elected Senator.

The notable part of the interview occurs at the end, when Greene is unable to name his Republican opponent Jim DeMint. Greene gave a long pause and sounded like he was searching through talking points for DeMint's name.

My wife said, “He’s just as substantive as Obama, just not as smooth.”

Thanks

KEWL ! ! !

Even Dippy the Hippy was smarter.

At last the Dems have found their perfect candidate, able to motivate all their voters.

It’s that way in most of the south.

We don’t have conventions that vet candidates and anyone can get on the ballot. The tradeoffs for that are the qualification fees.

I know here in ‘Bama the fees for the statewide offices are pretty steep and it costs around a grand just to file for a lowly seat in the state house.

If obama had an ounce of compassion he’d give the poor guy a teleprompter.

ROFL!

Just give him a staff and a Teleprompter— he’ll be as smart as Obama.

So far there is no evidence to prove this.

I think it's self evident that he is being used... this guy couldn't file for office if you put a gun to his head.

Be interesting to see how the Dems play this. If they go with his opponent, they'll appear 'racist'. If they go with Alvin, you'll know it's all about race.

As Alvin doesn't appear to be a member of the "Club", they'll be holding a tiger-by-the-tail if they aren't careful. What matters is: what he thinks about Obama.

Since the relationship between blacks and democrats is bound to blow-up some day anyway (when they finally take a look around and do an assessment), this guy's perspective could be what Obama and his phonies fear the most- the real black man keeping it real without a teleprompter.

Did America elect the First Black President? Answer: NO He's half white(y). Which would be fine, if he weren't such an inexperienced, narcissistic, a-hole.

I have a black friend (who was also a veteran) who can recite the Declaration of Independence- word for word. Somewhere, he learned to be proud to be an American. I suspect it was from his mom, really(it's an emotional thing, it is). But Obama's mother was white, and somewhere, he learned to be un-proud of America (as did his wife until the primary ended).

I miss black oratory like MLK Jr.'s, where we were treated to the power of reason and the wisdom of God without allowing excuses for our unrightiousness. Right is right, wrond is wrong, and from time to time, we need to hear it- like a lecture from a father- we need to be constantly reminded that "we aren't all that".

You'll not hear such from a secularist, but you will from one bathed in the spirit and that would include many a black person. Unless they've been bathed in Rap, in which case all is lost, especially amongst hos, women, and girls in general.

Yeah, time's right for a daddy smackdown and this political class is first in line for a spanking. If Alvin wants to shake things up, more power to him. If he goes 'establishment', so be it. I vote for shaking things up.

As I said a couple of days ago, America loves an underdog.

I honestly don't know what you mean. To file you just show up and hand the party a check. How hard is that?

We want him to be the Democrat candidate.

Leave it to the Democrats to ridicule their own guy.

Every once in a while, a story line comes out that just intrigues me. I look for every single article, and angle written about it. Alvin Greene is that story!

Reading the Kos Kids, and Dummies reactions, is funner than the story itself.

If there is an Alvin Greene Ping list, I want on it NOW!!!

In some ways, this reminds me of the film “The Distinguished Gentleman,” which starred none other than Eddie Murphy.

And I have a bad feeling this will not turn out well for republicans.

So long as Mr. Greene is telling the truth and he really paid the filing fee on his own, and so long as the Republicans show Mr. Greene a reasonable amount of personal respect, then I don't see any risk to the GOP here.

The 'Rats nominated Mr. Greene. Thus he's their problem. All Sen. DeMint has to do is run a campaign on conservatism and experience. Mr. Greene will have to make his own case and I see no possibility of him accomplishing that.
