He was supposed to have been on a panel at the Investigative Reporters and Editors 2010 Conference in Vegas.

This sounds pretty serious. The problem with this guy is his one way attitude. Very anti-American from what I’ve seen. If it’s any secrets you could make a case. This is not the case. Turn a secret memo on Putin he’d be dead in days. It’s more of a ‘dirt on the US’ thing.

I'm surprised this guy has gotten away with as much as he has, I went to his wikileaks site and the cryptome site were the information is located. There is a lot of dangerous stuff posted there. At http://cryptome.org/info/obama-protect30/obama-protect30.htm
they have pictures of all of the presidential secret service detail along with procedures. What is the point of putting that out there? I don't like Obama, but I don't want anyone to take a shot at him either...

Some of that is press footage. Some of it does not appear to be. Looks like a compilation of information. Not useful for much of anything. I don’t want to see him shot either. Impeached, disgraced, maybe deported? Well, you got me. The pictures with Michelle are a bit much. I think the SS does a good job though.

Poor Julian Assange, the founder of WikiLeaks.(sarcasm)

It's all just fun and games, untill he gets a personal death threat from a “classified” division of the “Government”.

Cryptome is a fun site. E.g., if you download this doc, you can look up the phone number of the hildebeest on the seventh floor: 202-647-9572.

One of the most disgusting broadcasts in my almost 70 years of listening to radio was the night Ian Punnett (CoastToCoastAM) had a Marine as guest. The Marine was there by invitation to promote his book about one of the battles for Fallujah.

Punnett had and insisted upon broadcasting the WikiLeaks helicopter recordings at the time they fired on what the military knew to be enemy. A couple of "jounralists" where also killed, I believe. The "journalists" no doubt were with the enemy to document their attacks on our military.

The Marine had little time to talk about his book -- he was being asked to defend against war crimes. Punnett thought it would be absolutely great if thousands of videos and documents were to be released to the public.

So.. whatever gets leaked will likely be featured on Ian Punnett's CoastToCoastAM radio, blog, and one of those "friends" links.

To be fair.. Punnett did insist that he backs our troops . . . .

I hope he leaks the “260,000 pages of confidential diplomatic cables”. For one thing I’d like to read the cables. Another thing is the diplomats, the UN, the NGOs are a bloody waste of money, time, energy, since they don’t appear to be contributing much to world prosperity. Might has well have a good laugh.

“Hillary Clinton and several thousand diplomats around the world are going to have a heart attack when they wake up one morning and find an entire repository of classified foreign policy is available.”

Well, if Bush were still in office, the documents would be released. The left would crow. Now that Bammy the African King is in power, there’s a problem?
