You just dont get it. We all love the stuff she has done, we just dont believe she is electable and more importantly that has has what it takes to be president.
It appears to me, that the situation is more like -- the Anti-Palinistas "don't want her to be elected" -- so they're doing all they can to prevent it ... :-)
But, on the other hand, the average American who sees that Palin is a normal person like the rest of them, holding to their same values (the ones we find in "fly-over America") and not with the liberal-leftist mindset we see so much of -- they are enthused about having someone like that in the Whitehouse.
The "basis" for her values and her conservative position on many issues, coming from her Biblical "worldview" is the main thing that is offensive to the Anti-Religious right crowd that infest Free Republic in various threads and hidden corners (the ones who say that God and the Bible don't belong in the GOP or in elections or in public policy of this country).
The only problem there -- is that the vast and overwhelming majority of normal and average Americans who live sane and useful lives in this country -- don't go along with the idea of "kicking God out of politics" and all things having to do with governing in this country.
There's the "big rub" for the Anti-Palinistas, at least a certain segment of them.
Thanks for outing yourself and validating my tagline.
