MEXICO CITY (AP) - President Felipe Calderon said Monday that the death of a Mexican migrant after being shot with a stun gun by a U.S. immigration officer was an unacceptable human rights violation.

Migrant Anastasio Hernandez was shocked by a Customs and Border Protection agent May 31 at the San Ysidro border crossing between Tijuana and San Diego. A U.S. coroner has ruled the death a homicide.

Calderon said he wanted to repeat Mexico's "energetic protest of the torture and death of Anastasio Hernandez, a Mexico who died at the hands of North American migration authorities."

exbrit posted: Mexican military officials running drugs across the border repeatedly into the US is also a matter to be looked into.

US Sen Menendez (D-NJ) is facilitating voter fraud and the establishment of Mexican drug labs on US soil. Violent drug cartels are pouring over the border. Illegals undermine US ntl security with fake documents.

One wonders if Menendez is being paid to make the case for mollycoddling illegals. L/E should investigate Menendez's statements and examine his campaign donations.

ITEM Raids at meat-packing plants across America found workers were illegal aliens using stolen or forged documents. One plant even had a working meth lab. How convenient...and lucrative.... for the drug cartels.

Meat-packing companies claimed they didn't know the people they hired were illegal; that‘s when our govt came up with E-verify program.

Menendez opposes the e-Verify program. Menendez has a bill to stop these raids, claiming they "violate the rights of Americans of Hispanic descent" who can't produce a birth certificate or other documents to prove who they are.

Most Americans are required to prove to state govt they are legal Americans just to renew driver's licenses---or to get a passport----by coming up with several pieces of ID to prove who they are; some Americans have to pay to get new docs and make long trips to get the required docs. But Sen Menendez doesn't worry about OUR rights.

QUESTION Where do Menendez’ loyalties lie? When Menendez was under fire for using his elected office to get taxpayer money for a facility he owned and rented out, Menendez took refuge in the Dominican Republic, giving news interviews in Spanish. (Probably also visited his tax-free bank accounts).

QUESTION Where does Menendez get campaign funds? If Menendez is a paid agent of a foreign government, he should be subjected to US laws.

CONFLICT OF INTEREST ANYONE? Menendez is also connected to a lucrative lobbying group run by his girlfriend (a former aide he divorced his wife for). Menendez' lobbying group could easily facilitate payments from foreign governments.

Menendez....son of legal or illegal immigrants?

As regards ITEM.... I’m told that most all meat sold has, at some point in the process, been handled by illegal aliens.

If they are indeed Americans of hispanic descent, they can easily prove it.

Menendez is a “reconquista” man.

Menendez....son of legal or illegal immigrants?

Heh---good question. He says Cuban parents were legal.

Menendez was born to Cuban immigrants who left their homeland in 1953, seeking economic and political freedom from the repressive government headed by Fulgencio Batista. His father, Mario, was a mechanic and his mother, Evangelina, a seamstress. The family subsequently moved to neighboring New Jersey where, growing up in Union City, he graduated from Union Hill High School.

After a B.A. from Saint Peter's College in Jersey City, he earned his Juris Doctor degree from Rutgers School of Law in Newark. He is a brother of Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc.He was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 1980 and became a lawyer in private practice.

He married (then divorced) Jane Jacobsen, a teacher for the Union City Board of Education, and the couple had two children: Alicia, a graduate of Harvard University, and Robert, a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

In December 2005, then-Cong Menendez was appointed by Jon Corzine to fill the remaining year in the Senate seat from which Corzine resigned upon being elected Governor of New Jersey. While several other names had been mentioned, Menendez was the early favorite among pundits for Governor-elect Corzine's replacement to fill the vacancy that would be created when Corzine resigned from the Senate.

Corzine's decision to appoint Menendez got the support of several Latino groups, including the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials. Menendez was the sixth Latino to serve in the United States Senate.

[Meat-packing companies claimed they didn’t know the people they hired were illegal]

Bull feces.

Are there any American-owned meat packing companies left?

Are there any American-owned COMPANIES, left?

The meat in my freezer came from the family farm of a family friend. I suggest FReepers make similar arrangements.

IF the “meat packers” won’t comply with immigration law voluntarily; and if Ewic Holder’s pathetic “justice” department won’t enforce immigration law -

THEN the only solution is for Citizens to BOYCOTT THEIR A$$ OUT OF BIDNESS.

You got that right.

RECONQUISTA, AMNESTY AND DEM LOSERS IN NEW JERSEY Ohaha's carefully laid plans for 2010-12----for installing a permanent Dem Majority of amnestied illegals----might look like this: Ohaha was heavly invested in the NJ gubernatorial race---one of only two statewide 2009 races w/ VA.

OBAMA WAS DESPERATE FOR NJ's CORZINE TO WIN W/ ILLEGAL VOTES---OHAHA KEPT SAYING CORZINE WAS HIS "PARTNER" Obama put the power of the WH machine behind NJ's Corzine.

The NY Times reported:
(a) every TV ad Corzine put on the air was being screened by Obama's WH team.
(b) Corzine's aides gave the WH daily briefings.
(c) Obama’s pollsters took over for Corzine’s polling team, and,
(d) White House operatives were on the ground for internal strategy sessions,

Reconquista Democrats rig the election (so they thought)

(e) White House operatives were orchestrating obscure pep rallies with Latinos (kept secret from voters),
(f) Corzine had a "Peruvian Pac" endorsing him.
(g) Ohaha campaigned in the state three times, Biden was there twice. Ohaha TV ads ran relentlessly.
(h) Corzine promised to give illegals ‘driving credentials’ & in-state tuition.
(i) Corzine sucked up to illegal immigrants and REFUSED to enforce current immigration laws
(j)Corzine formed a Blue Ribbon committee of hypenates using tax dollars to mine votes for Corzine.
(k)Also sucking up to illegals was Sen Robert Menendez, a Corzine campaigner.

OTHER SALIENT POINTS

>> Incumbent Dem Jon Corzine (the wealthy loser) outspent the Repub winner Chris Chirstie about 4-1.
>> New Jersey has a huge Democratic registration.
>> Corzine bragged he had 20,000 paid union helpers on the ground election day to get out the vote.
>> There was a third party candidate siphoning off Republican votes.
>> Corzine had the power of incumbency.
>> Corzine had the power of a crooked Democrat Machine cooking the vote.
>> Ohaha hid $17.5 BILLION stimlulus in New Jersey.....for Corzine's reelection campaign.

==========================================

NEW JERSEY IS IDENTITY FRAUD CENTRAL FOR LATINOS
Two Texans busted in bogus ID operation in NJ

NORTH BERGEN, NJ -- July 21, 2006 -- Pelcastre brothers, Angel and Jorge, Dallas, Texas, were a walking threat to US national security, expert document forgers who, for a few thousand dollars, could give anyone a new identity, authorities said. The Texas brothers turned a NJ hotel room into a business office and were readying a massive cache of fake Social Security cards for delivery to a local NJ identity broker.

The Texas brothers were a "one-stop shop" for a myriad of fake US documents, including birth certificates, Social Security cards, driver's licenses for any state in the US, passports and resident alien cards, said state police. Officers happened upon two cars bearing Texas plates in a NJ hotel parking lot. Authorities wouldn't identify the NJ hotel by name for fear it would spark retribution. The Drug Interdiction Task Force, regularly runs checks.

The Texas brothers were followed to a NJ office supply store nearby where they purchased computer supplies. Officers then followed the Texans to a NJ storage facility in Secaucus, NJ, where the Texans loaded several boxes into a car. One of them stood lookout. Authorities approached the Texas brothers when they returned to the NJ hotel and questioned them separately. The Texas brothers consented to a search.

Police recovered laminating sheets with built-in security features, pages of blank documents waiting for fake names and information, finished documents, computers and software to create the fake IDs.

All told, the haul was worth about $500,000 on the street. Police also recovered $6,000 in cash, which was the first payment from a NJ fake document broker for a shipment of 500 Social Security cards.

AND THIS The winning Republican Lieutenant Governor candidate, former County Sheriff Kim Guadagno, had applied for the federal 287(g) program, which sought to question every inmate coming to the County jail about his/her immigration status, regardless of the offense. Then-Sheriff Guadagno said she wanted to ensure that "illegal criminals" were not unduly released for fear of further harm to the community. The 287(g) program would provide the Sheriff with personnel and tools to punish individuals being held at the County jail (even if they do not meet the criteria set forth by Corzine's sucking up to illegals). Illegals lacerated Sheriff Guadagno for political pandering and for scouting incidents of indictable offenses such as driving under the influence by undocumented immigrants. She won state office, anyway.

=======================================

CONCLUSION Pulling out all the stops for Corzine made Ohaha a VERY good target for those disgusted with Ohaha’s policies. The New Jersey race was the shape of things to come for dumbo Dems. The Ovomitons know they are headed into a Republican tsunami.........in 2010-12.

REFERENCE Agriprocessors produced Kosher meat and poultry in Iowa. It was founded by Brooklyn butcher Aaron Rubashkin, and managed by his son Sholom. In the affidavit filed as part of the 60-page application for a search warrant of the premises, details were revealed of the government's investigation including numerous allegations of health and safety violations, mistreating workers, and using controversial slaughter practices.

A former supervisor at the plant --identified as Source #1- told investigators that some 80% of the workforce was illegal. The source also said he believed rabbis responsible for Kosher supervision entered the United States from Canada without proper immigration documents. The rabbis are believed to be Israelis.

Sources related stories of fraudulent documents and Social Security numbers presented for employment. Several said they were aware of undocumented workers paid by supervisors in cash. The affidavit says the government has probable cause to believe that an Agriprocessors supervisor assisted workers in acquiring fake documents in exchange for a cut of the proceeds.

The Des Moines Register headlined that methamphetamine (AKA crystal meth) was discovered in active production at Agriprocessors (a substance that has been linked to Israeli suppliers).

In another notorious case, Rubashkin apparently "sold" $2 million worth of meat to Allou Healthcare (a company controlled by the Rubashkin's Hasidim brethren) Only problem is, Allou distributes health and beauty items------and is not in the food business. Authorities might consider that Allou paying Rubashkin for a product it did not sell might be a kickback, money laundering or tax evasion scheme.

Money laundering or tax evasion might be integrated into bank fraud schemes----diverting millions of dollars in customer payments that were part of First Bank’s collateral and instructing an Agriprocessor employee to delete evidence of the scheme from the company’s computers........for which Rubashkin was arrested and charged with bank fraud.

========================================

REFERENCE---Rubashkin Denied Bond On Bank Fraud Charges; Tension High In Town
November 21, 2008, by Dave Westheimer, Des Moines Register

After a Wednesday bond hearing in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, US Magistrate Judge Jon Scoles ruled on Thursday that former Agriprocessors CEO Sholom Rubashkin must remain in federal custody pending his trial on bank fraud charges. Scoles ruled that Rubashkin is a serious flight risk, citing substantial evidence against Rubashkin and the $20,000 in cash and passports found in a travel bag in the Rubashkin home.

Agriprocessors is the giant kosher slaughterhouse in Postville, Iowa that was raided in May by immigration officials, resulting in the arrest and detention of about 400 illegal immigrants.

Rubashkin was arrested last Friday on the bank fraud charges (earlier); he is accused of diverting millions of dollars in customer payments that were part of First Bank’s collateral and instructing an employee to delete evidence of the scheme from the company’s computers.

Rubashkin's arrest came just one day after he posted bond on criminal immigration charges resulting from the May raid. His trial on the immigration charges is scheduled for January 20, but no date has been scheduled on the bank fraud charges (Des Moines Register, Iowa Independent).

Meanwhile tensions are reportedly very high in Postville, where the plant sits idle and workers have not been paid as promised. Threats of violence have been reported (Iowa Independent).

Man, they did every crime in the book.......... and then some. They got great PR when they landed in Iowa----including whining articles on Orthodox problems "fitting in" to conservative Iowa culture. I guess wise Iowa conservatives were onto the scams from the getgo.

BTW, the Rubashkins are related to NYC Rabbi Balkany who ripped off the US govt (that's us---taxpayers) of millions of dollars---and never served a day in jail. Balkany got tax dollars to build a (cough) "secular" daycare center on his synagogue----execpt that no one but Orthodox were admitted (if at all). It was one big scam. More below.

Lieberman Meets Brooklyn Fund-raiser
January 20, 2006 THE FORWARD, By E.J. KESSLER

Senator Joseph Lieberman (D-Conn) met January 2006 with some Orthodox leaders at the home of Milton Balkany, a rabbi whose legal troubles led President Bush's campaign and a New York mayoral candidate to return contributions linked to him. A well-connected political fund-raiser once dubbed the "Brooklyn Bundler" by the good-government watchdog group Common Cause, Balkany has been at the center of controversies dating back some years, which have led to various accusations but no criminal convictions.

In August 2003, the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York charged Rabbi Balkany, president and director of the Bais Yaakov School in the Boro Park section of Brooklyn, with theft of government property, false claims, and wire fraud and obstruction of justice for allegedly misappropriating a $700,000 grant from the Department of Housing and Urban Development. The charges prompted President Bush's campaign to return $4,000 that Balkany, a self-described Republican, had raised for the 2004 re-election run, the Forward reported in 2003. In March 2004, the charges were dropped when prosecutors came to a deferred prosecution agreement with Balkany that allowed him to return the money.

Bush is not the only politician to have returned campaign funds linked to Balkany. After Balkany's agreement with the government, Rep. Anthony Weiner, a New York congressman who ran for New York City mayor in 2005, returned contributions from relatives of Balkany when the government's original charges were brought to his attention, the New York Post reported in January 2005. Federal records show that Balkany gave Lieberman a $2,000 contribution in May 2003 and a $500 contribution in March 1999. The recent meeting at Balkany's home was first reported in the January 11 weekly edition of Hamodia, an Orthodox newspaper published in Brooklyn.

The recent meeting comes as Lieberman, a Democrat, is seeking re-election in Connecticut. The Lieberman campaign told the Forward that the event was arranged by the senator's fund-raiser, Fran Katz Watson. Lieberman's senatorial office confirmed the fund-raiser's involvement, but insisted that the gathering was not a fund-raising event.

"Senator Lieberman is an observant Jew, and there is support for him in the Orthodox community," Lieberman's spokeswoman, Casey Aden Wansbury, wrote in an e-mail. "This was not a fund-raiser, but an outreach event with this community of supporters and potential supporters." The national president of the Zionist Organization of America, Morton Klein, who attended the gathering, confirmed the assertion.

"This was not a fund-raiser," Klein said. "It was a friendly get-together. Nobody was writing checks. We talked about issues surrounding the Arab war against Israel and [confessed spy Jonathan] Pollard. It was eight people around [Balkany's] dinner table. We davened. Joe Lieberman led Mincha and Ma'ariv. He said Kaddish for his mother." Others present included the executive vice-president of National Council of Young Israel, Rabbi Pesach Lerner. He is a Pollard champion and, like Klein, an opponent of Israel's withdrawal from Gaza last summer. Lerner said he was "not at liberty to talk about" what was discussed at the meeting.

Balkany, interviewed by telephone, said that press reports of his legal woes were nothing more than "smearing." "There never was an indictment," he said about the 2003 charges. He added: "The government raised something. They walked away with egg on their faces. They made an apology." "I have dedicated my life to Jewish education and the Jewish community," he said.

Balkany's legal troubles have been reported on in various newspapers, including The New York Times, The Daily News, the New York Post and the Village Voice. In 2004, prosecutors released a statement from Balkany in which he acknowledged violating an "understanding" with the government. "Contrary to my understanding with HUD, I authorized the use of the grant to pay for general administrative and operational expenses of both Bais Yaakov and the Children's Center of Brooklyn, even though I knew that the specific terms of the grant did not permit me to use the funds in this manner," the rabbi said in the statement.

Balkany came to public attention during the administration of New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, after The Daily News reported that he had helped get day-care vouchers for parents by acting as a middle man, giving their names to city officials. The paper reported in January 2000 that more than half the city's 12,000 vouchers had gone to Orthodox Jewish families, prompting a probe. The practice drew criticism, but the probe found no illegality.
