The MSM and other liberals compulsively and habitually use the noun ‘racist’ like a weapon - sometimes a long rifle, sometimes a sledgehammer - to squelch their political opponents.
But in this case, they seem to have drawn the line at condemning Thomas’ words, not Thomas herself.

Hey, the guy asked a question; I offered my theory. I am not saying it is true in all cases and I do not believe it is a conscious attitude but it makes a certain amount of sense. I know if I was a Jew I heard the this kind of Helen Thomas nonsense (that is all too common) I would be asking God: "Why me?" And then next, "Why not somebody else for a while?"
