"22-year-old Army intelligence analyst ratted out by fellow hacker, accused of providing the Collateral Murder video and hundreds of thousands of classified State Department records to Wikileaks is currently imprisoned in Kuwait."

Wonder if he is still smirking.....
Ha ha, have fun in Federal PMITA prison, son.
Good. The military should give him a fair court martial and if he is found to be a spy then execute him by firing squad the next morning.
Although I agree with your sentiments, it will never happen. Today’s military justice system is just too damn P.C.
Sure looks like he earned that black beret. /s
I would hope the book is going to be thrown at this guy. But my hunch is a slap on the wrist; our Military is being de-fanged by PC.
Looks a little too....er...’metro’.
I watched the long version of the video, it was clear to me that there was a child in the front passenger’s seat. If I could see it why couldn’t the pilot? But this is more of a case of exposing classified items than worrying about whether or not the van engagement was necessary.
BINGO!
You’re kidding, right?
Are you intentionally this stupid or was it something you were born with?
Want the truth about what happened and how those in the service feel about this little traitor? Here’s the link:

This punk is guilty of Treason as defined in the U.S. Constitution. Here’s hoping that they carry out the punishment due.
The MSM will have a heyday over this, There will be a long line of attorneys waiting to represent Manning just for the publicity. Get ready for the war crime accusations, its going to blow!
Are you intentionally this stupid or was it something you were born with? ........................ Not as dumb or blind as you are. Did you not notice the child in the front seat? Sure Manning violated AR 380-?? (Too many changes to the AR 380 series, since I was a G-2) via the releasing of classified documents, I didn’t say that he was innocent, my gripe is that there was a child in the front seat, that was visible, and the situation did not call for the gunning down of the whole civilian vehicle. It could have been handled differently. It wasn’t like they were up against a fully equipped infantry unit at that point. The fact that this dirt bag released files in the 100k’s is enough to warrant his execution. He may be guilty as hell, but the Press will make him a hero. He’s not a Linda Tripp, if you catch my drift.
IMO part of the reason wars are becoming more common and lengthy is the idea that we can differentiate between the soldier and the civilian.
We killed thousands and thousands of civilians during WWII. These enemies of America hide behind women and children because they know it deters us.
Meanwhile they intentionally target women and children.
Did I notice it? Yes.
Do I care? Not a whit. This is war. It’s unfortunate, but innocents get killed in war often for no other reason than they were in the wrong place at the wrong time. These kids were colateral damage and the blame lies with the terrorist that brought them along, not the Apache pilot who did his job.
I just caught something.
You’re a G-2 and you would have checked fire due to a child?
So what happens when
A.) The terrorists that were rescued by the minivan are later able to recover and kill other Americans because you wouldn’t pull the trigger.
B.) That child, being raised as a Muslim, decides to follow in his father/uncle/whoever’s shoes and fight the Americans by blowing up a bus full of innocent kids somewhere in America?
Why is it that I, as a civilian, can see this but you, as a soldier, can’t?
I would have also. Got a problem with that?
That child, being raised as a Muslim,
That child's religion is not relevant. How do you know the child wasn't a Chaldean? Who would you target the next time? Protestants? Catholics?
Get a life, n00b.
