PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Conservative talk radio king Rush Limbaugh is getting married for a fourth time - and Elton John will sing at the reception.

The Palm Beach Post reports that the 59-year-old Limbaugh is getting married Saturday night to 33-year-old Kathryn Rogers in a Hawaiian-themed affair. About 400 people are expected to attend at the swank Breakers Hotel.

“Are you saying they dig guys who look like Benjamin Franklin”

No, but a few pics of Grover Cleveland might do the trick!

I'm just on a first name basis with George Washington.

Okay OldDeckHand, I’ll pose you a query. Lets say you had a large sum of money, significant monthly expenses, some sort of entertainment ability, and were offered $1M to perform at... Alec Baldwin’s wedding. You turning it down?

To me, this is a no brainer. Even if you’re morally opposed, you take Alec’s money and then donate it to a cause he despises. Its a win win all around. Maybe ol’ Elton has the same view.

Rush is wise to avoid talking about culture war issues.

And it’s also the reason the conservative movement seems bogged down and constantly in trouble...... The leadership are well spoken babble heads that talk the talk but don’t walk the walk.

It's principles, not personalities that matter. Our guys aren't perfect and to be fair, the other side's big mouths aren't perfectly evil human beings either.

Men are so dumb.

Yep...I know a guy that had substantial money...

He started getting on in years, and became pretty vulnerable...

He eventually married a woman 27 years younger...She and her own family took him for almost every dollar he had...When the old guy died, only his daughter and son were at his funeral....He died nearly broke, barley able to afford his medicaitons....I was told, he only realized he was being taken in the final month of his life.

Men are so dumb.

In many cases that’s true. But what does this make a woman?

Well, first let's not assume anything. I have a tremendous amount of musical talent and would be happy to send you a CD. How do you feel about Gregorian Chant set to polka tunes? I'm just waiting for the genre to catch fire. G550 & house in the Hamptons, I'm coming for ya.

Be that as it may, I would sing for Baldwin for free, so long as I could choose the music. Like a bucket of water on the Wicked Witch, I'm sure Baldwin would react the same way by the time I got to the third stanza of "Gimme that old time religion".

I really don't think Elton John is playing Limbaugh's wedding. But, if Nixon could go to China for a little Kung Pao chicken, I suppose Elton could play Limbaugh for a cool million.

There are some folks who I think shouldn’t get married for their own good, and the great El Rushbo is one of them. I didn’t think he would be so campy as to have Elton Jane sing at the wedding. I guess Liza was already booked.

Somehow I think it was the bride who wanted Elton John. They could feed half of Biafra with the leftover wedding cake

My parents knew an old guy who married a middle aged woman and some of her relatives ended up killing him. The new wife's family is sometimes the greatest danger.

Rogers is already into sports. Rush is. They have been with each other for years. Enough years for a try-out. At work there is a guy with 3 sons from a previous marriage, and a woman who has 3 daughters from her previous marriage. They have been living together for years. Both of them finally got married after all their kids turned 18.

And I am a 55 yo guy that is supposed to be going bald and grey based on my family's heritage. I have brown hair growing all over me that needs cutting every 2 months.

Maybe his recent health scare pushed him over the edge. Some people go a little crazy when they’ve had a scare like that. I love him, but think he’s nuts. Once was enough for me.
