I belive that every bit of this could have been prevented from reaching the shore....and the blame lies with Obama and tying the hands of the states.
comrade obozo’s fault.
globs of oil...
Following Ixtoc, my children grew up thinking oil on the beach was normal, they survived, as will everyone else.
“Globs” is a term that would better describe grease than oil.
Will oil water improve my surfing?
You mean killed the tourist season. Who would go there?
Prolly, at least that’s puttin’ a good spin on it!
I remember going to Port Aransas a couple of summers around that time and the tar balls on the beach. We survived.
One of my daughters friends had to cancel her band trip, forfeited 600.00 bucks, to go to a dance competition . . . missed out on it, no refunds, due to flooding in Nashville that weekend since it was at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel . . . now they have reservations for a condo at Gulf Shores in early half of July. Three strikes, poor kid, family will be out money for all three events.
We fueled up on I-10 about six miles from Mobile Bay yesterday and the smell was that far inland.
Contrast this with Bush repeatedly call N.O. mayor and offering federal assistance and being denied. Obviously wanting to be a victim rather than let Bush mitigate the hardships of its citizens.
Except the 11 men on the Rig. everyone seems to forget about them. Not me

Check out this link! These guys have figured out a way to clean up the oil spill! Just regular guys, not engineers. Any bets no one will try this?
Lived in Corpus Christi at the time and the little marbles the one was laying with the other day are not the tar balls I remember.
Nor I. Had to quit posting for a while with all the hype about the poor little birds.
:-) okay...I’ll take what you say...:-)
But when it’s mixed with sand, shells, and tiny bits of sea weed, it’s looks like a glob, just like grease.
Just so you’ll know...I wasn’t the first to use the word glob.....:-)
