I see by googling you’re talking about Henning Mankell. I tried one of his novels after really enjoying Stieg Larsson’s Girl trilogy (which were fantastically entertaining, though definitely written by a hardcore liberal). Judging by what I read, Mr Mankell has a serious inferiority complex as far as America is concerned. Mentioned it three times, in places where it didn’t even make sense. I picked up the book thinking Wallendar couldn’t possibly be as wet as portrayed by Kenneth Brannagh, but it was actually worse. Least enjoyable book I’ve read in years.

It has been breaking news for 2000 years. The Bible says we won’t know. Thief in the night etc.. Why not put it under religion?
There is a reason why the Torah and our Bible says what it does. It is the testament to our faith....That FAITH is what we need to embrace at this morose time.
We won’t know, but Jesus also tells us not to be caught outside when the Bridegroom shuts the door. That, to me, implies that we need to be vigilant for the time. And though we may “not know the day or the hour”, He never said anything about not knowing the decade or the year...

That's actually a pretty good point - except that I am a Christian, and this stuff makes all of us (Christians) look like fools. Just my opinion.
Really. Of course you know the owner, Jim Robinson, is pro-Israel. Any time somebody publicly attacked me, they got ZOTTED right off the server.
