I believe that the inaccurate report of Joran’s suicide first occurred in an anonymous Twitter posting which bloggers ran with, but it was all a hoax.

An Orwellian trick - it can be used to incapacitate a victim for any purpose: robbery, abduction etc., not just sexual advantage.

With the girl’s father means and connections, you never know how far a vendetta would reach.
