Right on MrB. I’ve often wondered how such a powerful nation (the most powerful) could weaken to the point of not being even recognizeable in prophecy, it seemed incredible. Now, I can see it happening right before my eyes, and understand.

We’re so closely aligned, it’s bound to happen.
My Dad (RIP) - devout Roman Catholic, used to preach at us kids about defending Israel, no matter the cost.
When we grew old enough to question him about it, he’d simply say, “Because, what if I’m wrong” (referring to his Catholicism.)
I miss the superstitious old man.

Unless you follow the lost tribes theory, and the US is either Ephraim or Manasseh. That makes modern Israel, Judea with some Levites.
It is cool when you read, in I think Ezekiel, where God brings the two Kingdoms of Israel (Judea and Israel, the northern Kingdoms) back together like a stick that was broken in half.
