Statement from Joe Sestak on White House Counsel's Report
MEDIA, PA - U.S. Senate candidate Congressman Joe Sestak released the following statement today:
"Last summer, I received a phone call from President Clinton. During the course of the conversation, he expressed concern over my prospects if I were to enter the Democratic primary for U.S. Senate and the value of having me stay in the House of Representatives because of my military background. He said that White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel had spoken with him about my being on a Presidential Board while remaining in the House of Representatives. I said no. I told President Clinton that my only consideration in getting into the Senate race or not was whether it was the right thing to do for Pennsylvania working families and not any offer. The former President said he knew I'd say that, and the conversation moved on to other subjects.

Libra’s footsteps echo off the walls. The buzz of a flickering neon light is heard. In the corner of the garage a whole sector of lights has gone dark. Shadows thicken. A lighter flickers in the darkness as a cigar is lit.

CENTURION: Delenda est. Sort of overly dramatic don’t you think?
LIBRA: Not paid to think. What is the assignment?
CENTURION: The Wing thinks it’s time to lay a little blue smoke between the mirrors. Take the heat off our team and torch the other side. That’s your job.
LIBRA: Fine. How wet does the Wing want it to get?
CENTURION: We project that if three team members are sent down it should put a stop to any attrition in November.
LIBRA: Wouldn’t taking out just one serve the same purpose?
CENTURION: No. It has to look like a pattern.
LIBRA: Fine. Any particular team members you need erased?
CENTURION: Nobody from Chicago or San Francisco. And from safe seats only. We need to preserve the count. Renegade’s very keen on that.
LIBRA: Level of obfuscation?
CENTURION: None. Public and messy. “Accidents” would be counter productive. But no families. Renaissance would be upset.
LIBRA: Timing?
CENTURION: Within the next 10 days. It would be best if all three were within the same day.
LIBRA: You want target clearance and notification?
CENTURION: No. This will be the last contact for this contract.
LIBRA: Half to the Bahamas account by noon tomorrow and the half on completion to our friend in Costa Rica.
CENTURION: Done.
LIBRA: Anything else?
CENTURION: No. If we need you again we can always find you.
LIBRA: That’s what you people always think. Oh, by the way, was that stuff about you being naked in the showers the real deal?
CENTURION: Just get it done.

Wonder how Sestak feels to be part of an evil Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, Sestak circle.

Tonight, Barack Obama will host ten House Democrats who voted against the health care bill in November at the White House; he’s obviously trying to persuade them to switch their votes to yes. One of the ten is Jim Matheson of Utah. The White House just sent out a press release announcing that today President Obama nominated Matheson’s brother Scott M. Matheson, Jr. to the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.

The real question: What was Sestak promised to save BOTH Clinton’s and Obama’s asses.

It’s so obviously evil they used his brother as someone they know will lie for him. Bubba is a proven perjured felon, and Obama is a liar in chief.

Seconded! Mr. “I-answered-honestly” is going to find that no one can simultaneously play naive (and honorable) sailor and Washington games. He’s no longer the deer in the headlights but at least a passenger in the oncoming car.
Sestak is a Naval Academy Grad? Do they have an Honor Code? If so, he must feel that it no longer applies.

Unless he has MORE to say, it appears Mr. Sestack has opted to cast his honor to the wind and begin the back-pedaling procedure.
If blago was smart, he'd use this to his advantage. Why is still protecting obama? Come on Blago.... spill your guts. There's a pattern here with the WH trying to effect election outcomes.
He feels just fine. Lying is just a cost of doing business to politicians. Your first mistake is expecting any of them to have a conscience.
Sestak, clinton and obama could just walk into a room with an UNPLUGGED lie detector machine sitting on a desk in the corner and the machine would explode into smoke and flames.
It's astonishing how many democrats are willing to put it all on the line for this loser of a president. Man, he's so not worth it.... no matter what color he is. The problem here is that no one wants to take down the first "black" president. His color is his teflon. That's why he is where he is.

Notice how after repeatedly claiming he was offered a job, that the word “job” doesn’t even appear in this statement?
Hmmmmmm...it appears that Sestak got his lines memorized beautifully! GOOD BOY!
