If they have fractured the bed formation.....which was a worry......it’s the relief wells or nothing. Just damn.
I wondered why some of the matter leaking from the well was very light colored and some was much darker. I know that sounds elementary because I am no engineer, but it just didn’t look right.
I still think there is a possibility that they can get a bigger line down there and pull even more oil up. Perhaps even the majority of it can be captured.
Nope. The 'mud' they were pushing into the pipe (below the failed parts) was being forced back up out the holes in the pipe.
