Whoopee!
The last time Obama had a formal press conference was the infamous 'cops acted stupidly' one on July 22, 2009.
He'll be taking questions starting (around) 12:45 p.m. EDT.
The Nation waits....

Has anyone timed this answer? At this rate there will be 3 or 4 (at most) questions posed.

Is this a rehearsed answer to a known question? It sure sounds like it to me - and I wouldn't put it past the AP shill (Jennifer Lovin) to have agreed to submit her question to the Gibbsy before the presser.
To: ScoopAmma
Is he saying that the govt slowed down top kill and were worried about it???
To: Right_in_Virginia
For timing purposes, I believe he started this one at 1:02pm ET time....

I suggest you save the link by viewing the source document and coping it, before they sweep that link clean.

0bama is fairly coherent in his answers. He’s reading teleprompter when you see his head bobbing left to right and back again

Ping me when there is another question.
To: Deb
The AP's Jennifer Loven got the first question.
For the record, the press conference is being broadcast live by all four major broadcast networks as well as Univision.

If Obama’s been driving every action since day 1, why has BP been getting “permission” from the Coast Guard for the actions that BP has initiated?

Are there any questions at all about the SESTAK scandal?
To: Dinah Lord
Now, hes in full filibuster mode - he figures if he can stall, he will have to take fewer questions.Just like the last "town hall" he did - how long was that answer when a single sentence would have sufficed?
To: ladyvet
What the hell is he talking about?!!!!!Mud, oil, drilling, fat allen.
