Obama to aides: 'Plug the damn hole' By Eric Zimmermann - 05/25/10 11:48 AM ET
As critics question whether the White House is being tough enough with BP, Obama is reportedly showing his frustration behind closed doors:
Since the oil rig exploded, the White House has tried to project a posture that is unflappable and in command.
But to those tasked with keeping the president apprised of the disaster, Obama's clenched jaw is becoming an increasingly familiar sight. During one of those sessions in the Oval Office the first week after the spill, a president who rarely vents his frustration cut his aides short, according to one who was there.
"Plug the damn hole," Obama told them.

The media is turning on the Messiah.
The media now looks like a bunch of ten dollar whores on a Sunday morning for peddling his BS.

Sounds like Kip Chalmers ordering the railroad workers to get him throught the tunnel. He doesn’t care how, he just cares that he is obeyed.

I’ll bet the folks at BP are slapping themselves on the forehead and saying, “Wow! Why didn’t WE think of that?!”

All joking aside, this guy has neither the intelligence nor the temperment to govern.
The continuing build of non-adoration is taking it’s toll.
He’s gonna get increasingly twitchy
and
he’s gonna LOSE IT!

I wonder how many aides we would have to stuff down the damn hole to plug it?? All of them, and some appointees too.

Yeah and as soon as he plugs this leak, he’ll get around to lowering the ocean levels and reducing the global temperature.

‘Plug the damn hole.’ Why didn’t anyone else think of this? Now we know why Obama gets paid the big bucks.
To: Anitius Severinus Boethius
I suspect that’s the problem.
BP says, let’s do THIS - White House Energy Office says, “no, can’t do that, bad for the environment”, etc, etc, ad nauseum.
Meanwhile soon there will not be an environment to harm.

It’s bad enough he was a senator - they ALWAYS make lousy presidents. The fact that he is a race-baiting poverty pimp just made it worse.

It's frustrating when you can't use your criminal political power for make things go your way. Yammering on a bull horn or sending your thugs to force your opponents to "see it your way" doesn't apply this time. This is a real problem. It's not a trumped piece of Hegelian dialectic e.g. "global warming" that can be leveraged into more totalitarian control over the population. All the empty suit has to offer is a clenched jaw and plans to spend the Memorial Day weekend in Chicago...playing while the oil spill does tangible damage to the food and tourist industries of the Gulf.
