A major retailer in New York has been forced to capitulate to the damands of transgender activists because of a "transge nder rights" law.
New York's recently passed a transgender law is relatively tame. It's nowhere near as radical as the Transgender Rights and Hate Crimes bill now being considered in the Massachusetts Legislature. It seemed innocuous at the time.
But the radical transgender / cross-dressing and homosexual movement in New York is using it as a club to force their agenda on society.......
...NOTE that our Attorney General, Martha Coakley, is even MORE pro-transgender than New York's Cuomo. Coakley personally testified for the Transgender Bill at its public hearing last July.

Mentally ill people running around getting laws passed to protect their “uniqueness”.
Didn’t Martha Coakley loose an election to Scott Brown?
Weirdachusetts.
Yes, she is stuck in her old job.
.
Exactly.
I think we should have Frankenstein Monster rights too.
Ughhhh......Hope one of these “it’s” doesn’t try to get a job at Hooters.....I would have to give up Chicken Wings....NOOOOO!! LOL
I don’t understand the economic reasoning (bottom lne) of American Outfitters. Logically, people who are repelled at being forced to deal with a sales person who is obviously lying/pretending to be someone they are not, will NOT COME BACK TO THE STORE. Personally I would be embarrassed for both of us... me for being there... he/she/it for insulting my intelligence and challenging my good manners. Ergo, American Outfitters goes out of business.
I for one, will not go into any store which hires people to relate to their customers who are pretending to be the sex they are not.... it’s insulting to pretend there is no “elephant in that room”.
instead of he/she just say “it”
Sorry but these retailers ought to stand up for their customers because if I see one of these freaks working in a store I will not shop there!
Well, that ends any chance of me buying anything from AEO. OTOH, a company that stands up to crap like this will earn my business. Knuckling under to nonsense like this is exactly how we came to be where we are.
MM (in TX)
Aren't stores or businesses free to choose who they hire and fire? Why can't stores have appearance rules. You don't have to go into a store or buy things from them if you don't want to.
Can you not bathe, shave or wear clean clothes if you choose to. Is it OK to go to work smelling like a barnyard if you choose to?
Why not make Tiffany or Rolls Royce sell you diamonds or cars at what ever price you choose or “can afford”?
I'm totally sick of so called “minority” demands to be treated special. What arrogance, whining and self indulgence.
At some point, we must start breaking the law. I treat people with respect, even trans-people I’ve met or worked with. I don’t need Big Brother telling me how to think or address someone. I expect people to dress appropriate to the business they are in, and their function within that business.
And then there’s this:

Amazing, don’t you think???
And your taxes are paying for the web site too !!!!!!!!!!!
I have Ethnic Identity Disorder and demand to use the Colored Only rest room!
Trans people don’t want respect. They want adulation. Guys in dresses have a tendency to talk down to women. And “Transgender” laws make women Second Class Citizens in the Ladies Room.
Conservatives who stand up for causes they feel strongly about are called “kooks”, “racists”, “nut cases”, etc. Liberals who try to advance their twisted agenda are called “activists.”
I have the “world revolves around me” syndrome. I demand that everything is catered exactly to my desires and strange likes and dislikes.
For a start, I demand only red M&M’s be sold, anything else would violate my “diverse” nature and desires.
