I use #9 shot for dove at the beginning of the season. Move to #8 then #7 1/2 as they fly higher later in the season.
Slightly OT: What’s a good 12 ga load for goose? I’m going goose hunting this year for the first time. I’m assuming I need to use full choke. We’re no-lead here for waterfowl.
