So, because you don't see millions of militia members bearing down on DC right now, you don't think there's any will amongst the people to fight for their country?
Friend, a revolution doesn't just happen because the people are flaming mad. It takes a spark. Something that pushes the tension level just one notch too high, and then it breaks.
Obama's got the tension level almost as high as the American people can stand it, yet he's showing no signs that he's even aware of it.
Call it arrogance, false bravado, cocksureness, a lunatic mission complex, or just plain ignorance. Whatever it is, it's causing the pot to boil, which it can't continue to do forever.
If he doesn't quickly take stock of what's occurring and turn down the heat, something's going to give.
Maybe you've lived so long in relative peace, safety, and freedom, that you can't imagine such a thing ever occurring in this country, but I assure that people in every country where revolutions have occurred, felt something similar.
Even a casual review of this nation's early history will show that there are eerie parallels between what caused our ancestors to revolt against King George III, and what's happening today.
What you said in your previous post was: ...and there's not a damn thing anyone can do about it.
That's where you're simply dead wrong, my friend. You can do something about it. The only question is, will you?
Re your post #431. An excellent post. I believe you’re right on the money.
