If Los Angeles wants to boycott Arizona, it had better get used to reading by candlelight.
That's the message from a member of Arizona's top government utilities agency, who threw down the gauntlet Tuesday in a letter to Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa by threatening to cut off the city's power supply as retribution.
Gary Pierce, a commissioner on the Arizona Corporation Commission, wrote the letter in response to the Los Angeles City Council's decision last week to boycott the Grand Canyon State -- in protest of its immigration law -- by suspending official travel there and ending future contracts with state businesses.

Shut off their agua, AZ!
This should give the turkeys in Los Angeles something to think about. LOL!
So when does the shooting start?
Arizona should withhold any cooperation with California.
California is acting as a criminal accomplice, aiding and abetting the infiltration of our nation.
The einsatzgruppen we saw deployed at Ruby Ridge and Waco would immediately descend on Arizona, however. Whether they would have carte blanche for their terror operations this time is a question.
Need to have a “temporary shutdown for maintenance”. One hour per day should suffice to start!!
Great idea.
I’M LOVIN IT!!!Finally someone with guts!!!
Yes!
In addition...
The Los Angles Lakers should also boycott Phoenix. They should refuse to play games 3 and 4 there.
(But knowing los Suns.... they would happily agree to play all 7 games in Loser Angeles.)
This talk of embargo has some punch, coming as it does from a Corporate Commissioner.
These idiots in CA called for a boycott and didn’t realize they get their power from AZ. I love it.
During the hottest part of the day or right after sundown!
Love it! Up the price and call it transportation cost increases. No,Up the price and call it government regulation....

This is constructive! Apply the increased costs to hiring, training and deploying more AZ law enforcement.
:-)
Go Arizona. We are all going to have to stand our ground in some form or another before too long. Here’s a good example on how it’s done.
Great idea, that's better than just shutting the power off. They'd never know when to expect it and AZ would still be able to charge them for the power. :-)
I wonder...do they have the capability to just shut LA off or is it region wide?
If it’s region wide, I need to fill up the gas cans so I can run the generator if we get hit with this in the Antelope Valley.
We’re only about 70 miles north in Kern Cty. and I’m not sure where our power comes from.
Do it!
