Then we expect another Ice Age. Just looking at the historical data.
Note: there are more data points near the present, so the random variations and errors make it appear as if there was more short term variation than in the past, but it's just a density of samples effect.

Indeed, I rarely even take today’s weather report seriously. The most accurate, up-to-date weather report is what you get when you stick your head out the window. As for climate, that’s what you get after observing the weather over a long period. If something like an asteroid or a volcano throws up a huge amount of dust and causes mass extinctions, etc, chances are I’ll be too busy to care about the um “climate”.
