There are already a couple of LIVE THREADS covering the overall PA primary election. But I don't see anything out there for the Arkansas, Kentucky and Oregon folks so we are going to post our normal live thread focusing on the Key House Races. In this weeks Primary Elections we see 2 competitive House Races in AR and 9 in PA. Plus there is the Special Election in PA-12 that we have been following. There is nothing looking very competitive to us in OR or KY.

A big chunk of precincts just came in and it’s still within 500 votes.

Nonsense. Republicans didn’t vote against Burns in the special election, although I’m sure we’ll hear him or his handlers try to spin his loss that way. Burns ran a crappy campaign, that’s why he lost.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Arkansas Sen. Blanche Lincoln failed to win the majority of votes in the Democratic primary Tuesday and now faces a three-week fight with Lt. Gov. Bill Halter for her party's nomination.
Already one of the most vulnerable incumbents seeking re-election this year, Lincoln will run against Halter alone in a June 8 runoff. A third candidate, Little Rock businessman D.C. Morrison, drew enough votes Tuesday to force the extra campaign but will not progress.
Lincoln had said she would be ecstatic with either a runoff or a clear-cut victory, but Halter has said forcing overtime would be close to a win.
The special was the first screen, and then the primaries from Governor on down on the following screens.

There is truth in what you say. It's a strength and a weakness. As I watched people going in to the polls today I paid attention to how people used the lists of endorsed candidates they were offered. Some folks declined, since they already knew how they would vote.
Of the people who took the endorsement lists, I believe many just voted "as they were told". I heard several Dems talking about being confused as to how to interpret something on their endorsement list and wondering whether they'd "done it right" and "how they were supposed to vote".
Among GOP voters, I had several who seemed confused by the list, which I explained to them without pushing any candidates. I believe based on the outcomes that many people pretty much vote according to the endorsement list, unless they see a local candidate or someone very familiar.
It is very important to influence those party endorsements, and indeed to encourage a variety of constitutionally oriented candidates to run for office. Endorsements carry a lot of weight among voters on both sides. While people may debate and snipe, ultimately, many will line up with the party recommendations if only because they don't have time to do all their own research.
Well, that settles it! The two can do battle for three weeks and spend lots of money fighting one another.
No clear winner and a run-off is precisely the outcome we wanted.
