Arizona did it again! Fresh from signing a law that reinforces a federal law giving police the right to ask a person stopped by police for an unrelated matter to produce papers proving the right to be legally in the US, followed by a law banning schools from teaching minority/ethnic studies courses advocating separatism, group superiority and subversion of this country, Arizona Governor Jan Brewer (R) signed
legislation affirming that nothing in state law requires businesses to provide "trained and competent" interpreters when a customer comes in speaking a language other than English. Assistant Attorney General Michael Walker said that has probably always been the law.
If it was always the law, why the need for this law? Because of a lawsuit of course. A unilingual Spanish speaking woman in Arizona was treated by a unilingual English speaking optometrist in his Arizona office. The woman's underage 12 year old daughter offered to be the interpreter; fearing legal, insurance and medical problems if the child misunderstood the optometrist refused, asking the mother and child to return with an English speaker over 18 or alternatively, visit some Spanish speaking optometrists. Instead, the Spanish speaker, whether legally in this country or not, understood enough of this country to file a discrimination suit against the English speaking optometrist. Refusing to settle, the optometrist finally won after the Arizona Attorney General took a year to decide no laws had been broken.

I am so sick and tired of buying products with two languages on them. No one made manufacturers put Polish or Slavish on products when my Grandparents came to America. And there certainly were no translators made available.

Yep. I've said this from day one. The illegals aren't here to 'immigrate' and they definitely aren't here to 'become americans' like immigrants did in the past.
This is an invasion. They are here for the 'reconquista' - many are in fact members of La Raza. They are here to bleed our economy dry and then slowly take over. They aren't brave enough to take on our military one on one. So they invade little by little, bringing their families, taking and taking and taking............
But I don't blame those hopping across the border grabbing for the freebies. I blame our government for offering the freebies to begin with!

Texans are beginning to look like mush. They should have been on top of it when AZ showed the way back to a Constitutional Country. I'm in Indiana and we're being overrun here as well. Parts of Indianapolis now look like Nogales. Our state needs to pass these laws also!
In California maybe 1980`s 90`s, [do not know if still in effect] Oakland School District required translators in 86 languages in their schools. This is how bad it can get from moon bat control of schools. —Plus if your child went to a public school [under then-guv Jerry Brown]in Chinatown, Oakland, your child had to learn Mandarin. These are the nuts trying to screw around with America. [The parent sued Oakland Unified, won the lawsuit and Mandarin requirement was thrown out.]
