our cities have become such nests
At least Arizona will smell a little better without all those dirty hippies running around...
Go ahead...Starbucks loses me as a customer.
let them everyone know how you feel about this situation. Since the liberal machine does not choose to divulge which of the local politicians are pushing for this boycott, write them all and tell them your feelings about it, either pro or con. bob.ferguson@kingcounty.gov; larry.gossett@kingcounty.gov; kathy.lambert@kingcounty.gov; larry.phillips@kingcounty.gov; julia.patterson@kingcounty.gov; jane.hague@kingcounty.gov; pete.vonreichbauer@kingcounty.gov; dow.constantine@kingcounty.gov; reagan.dunn@kingcounty.gov; council@kingcounty.gov; dan.satterberg@kingcounty.gov; attorney.prosecuting@kingcounty.gov
start by boycotting Starbucks
If you’re a taxpayer and voter, it must be nice to see your elected representatives put aside trivial issues such as a bad economy in your own city in favor of trying to trash another’s. I have always said that our elected officials have way too much time on their hands.
It’s ok though. If Seattle goes through with this idiocy, we can always boycott Seattle.
Why does Seattle need AZ anyway? I thought Seattle was a perfect, utopian society where everyday was sunshine and skittles?
The Airlines will loose also if they boycott Arizona. This goes two ways. People in Arizona will not fly to Seattle either.
This is actually great! I hope every city/state takes a position on this - then we can vote with our feet. The cities that want illegals will decay quicker than Detroit, Mi. The cities who will kick out illegals will be prosperous. It’s a choice for all you prochoicers.
San Diego Faces Own Medicine as Arizona Residents Cancel Travel Following Boycott of State
According to the newspaper, the convention bureau (California) has received about 25-30 emails from Arizona residents, with some saying they are canceling their reservations and taking their money elsewhere.
That has tourism officials urging Arizonans to consider the resolutions as merely symbolic and local politics at work.
“We’re in a very tough environment already because of everything else going on, and we don’t need another negative impact to our industry,” ConVis President Joe Terzi told the Union-Tribune. “This affects all the hardworking men and women who count on tourism for their livelihoods, so were saying, don’t do something that hurts their livelihoods.”
“I’ve been approached by a number of hotels who are very concerned because theyve received cancelations from Arizona guests,” Namara Mercer, executive director of the county Hotel-Motel Association, told the newspaper.
Roughly 2 million Arizonans visit San Diego each year but the recession has taken a toll on the hotel industry that was hoping for a comeback this year. Hotels are offering deep discounts to fill up their undersold rooms while the tourism board spends $7 million this spring and summer season to promote travel to the area.
San Diego Councilwoman Donna Frye said she believes some Arizona residents are acting out of a misunderstanding.
The City Council did not pass a resolution boycotting Arizona, and I would hope that the good citizens of Arizona understand that and will continue to visit San Diego, Frye said.
School board President Shelia Jackson said that while she was disappointed to hear of people opting to stay away from San Diego, she doesnt regret her vote.
Its sad that people would cancel their plans to come here in reaction to that, but I still think we did the right thing, Jackson said. Certainly, we know how important tourism is to San Diego, and it wasnt my intent to impact the tourism trade.

I can’t help but think there are people going around to cities
inciting this behavior.
Is 0 sending out his tentacles?

I heard from a friend who lives in Tacoma that the city of Tacoma is considering the same thing.
You know how all this bullsh— could have been avoided?
If more than one state and one governor acted on this immigration law...
In the future we need to work TOGETHER as individuals and states interested in freedom. We MUST begin to discuss these issues among our selves at the state government levels and working with other like minded states develop strategies for moving the cause forward. One state and one governor gives the marxists someone to isolate, freeze, yada yada... But a group of states all enacting the exact same laws at the same time become immune to that tactic.
It is time to form a union of free minded states that will work together to free themselves and their citizens from the tyrannical grip of socialism and the idiocy of the left in general. We need to DEMAND that “conservative” states form a new continental congress where the foundation of freedom can be rebuilt and then methods of achieving freedom can be debated and enacted.
This needs to happen NOW!
Here is the most efficient route to Seattle which welcomes you with open arms:
Please head either NORTH or SOUTH (preferably) before you
