“street language” implies vulgarity.....Christie used none of that.

Did you think it was cute when he suggested they ought to see him when he’s ‘pissed’.

I’m an old broad, I wasn’t amused. Generation gap, I guess.

If he was my kid and I have kids older than he, I would have cringed.

Just shows how desperate people are for a real leader, a real CONSERVATIVE leader.

Any time a Republican shows any type of boldness - it's a time for celebration. Chris may not be a great choice, but at least he did something right. He deserves more credit than those who do nothing.

Let’s see him put his words into action.
Are you kidding ? Have you read ANYTHING about what’s going on in NJ? He;s starting to turn this corrupt toilet of a state on it’s head. He’s a good man !

Thanks. Could you fix your tag line? It makes no sense...or did you run out of space?

LOL......hardly a profane word, but admittedly a colorful word that describes a bodily function. I was not in the least offended by that....but the reporter’s question was another matter.

Not sure how anyone here is not mega impressed bt Chris Christie’s handling of the left and the media. It is a blueprint for what we need in leaders and sorely lacking in our party. How is this post turning into a bash Christie and Beck thread? Jeez

To you, the only fabulous person in the GOP is Palin. You cannot stand it when people say nice things about someone who could possibly be a rival.

I din’t scream “Christie for prez”.

I am not from NJ, so I don’t know a whole lot about Christie, but I got a kick out of it and my hubby played it 3 times with glee.

Can people at least enjoy a moment when the MSM gets their comeuppance from a GOP male?

The NJ media has been joining in with the teacher’s union leaders to bash away at Christie’s combative tone.

It’s hilarious given their email sent to 17,000 teachers with the wish that Christie die.

Every single day they’re whining about how mean and nasty Christie is.........unending.

The reporter is a far lefty. I once wrote to the Star Ledger and asked them to take his french kisses for Corzine off the front page as that at least ought to be reserved for news.

They did move him off the front page. The media here in NJ is laughable and gets no respect from anyone.

Must say tho, the Bergen Record where the nasty email originated does print letters from conservatives. Their editorial staff is left left left and they get letters from me every week. I often ask they not be published but want them to know we’re out here watching them.

They did print my letter with regard to Christie not re-appointing NJSC judge Wallace. They even had a guest editorial sharing my point of view of the hypocrisy from the dems.

I am certainly impressed with Christie. While he may not be a perfect “rock ribbed conservative”, he seems to be strongly focused on achieving a few things which will improve the lives and enhance the liberty of New Jersey citizens. He may not be the ultimate conservative hero, but he may just be what New Jersey needs now. Does he have a larger political future? Who knows and at this point who (other than wonks and bloggers) really cares?

I have many republican heroes. Not the least of which is Ryan, Pence, DeMint, Inhoff, Bachmann, .........there are many so called rivals for Palin and any one of them would get my vote.

Frankly, Palin is getting as tiresome as Beck. Just my opinion.

You are right, you don’t know NJ. So glad your hubby got his kicks for the day.......three times. That settles it then! Your hubby for prez!

I live in NJ and this state is as corrupt as ancient Rome. Christie just walked into the job and already he’s shaken up the state BIG TIME. As a prosecutor he put away a TON of corrupt politicians and he’s no one to play with I assure you of that . He’s a bit of a prick and that’s good , we need that on our side .He’s much better than %99 of the two faced GOP people we have around.
By the way Palin is starting to get tiresome for me at this point. She’s great , she can and does help us out but she’s not presidential material in my opinion.

Beck is one of the BEST things we have going for us. He is doing the research and he’s educating the public . We pay BIG money to politicians and Beck has to come in and do what THEY are supposed to be doing. That being said I’m getting tired of his high drama approach ( I still listen though because the meat of what he says is VERY VERY important)

Best part. Christie announces that he is going to do a sting operation across the state to root out corrupt local officials.

He catches about 30 pols, AFTER THE ANNOUCEMENT, all dems. One pol even tells the stinger (is that a word) to go to this other pol that he’s glad to take bribes. Just sharing in the action I guess.

Bergen County is irredeemable. Much like those in Newark just loved Sharpe James.

Jersey City has become a hell hole of crime. The long time Mayor was just defeated. Doubtful anything will change.

If Christie gets the spending under control and gets the Court focused on JUSTICE it will be a big plus.

He’s not afraid to use the bully pulpit, for sure.
