We saw this with the regime’s defenders when they were trying to deny the existance of rationing boards.

Osama wants to ban guns through the Democrat method using "small steps", also called "boiling the frog".
He would allow local govt to ban guns. He would ban the sale of guns between private citizens. He would ban concealed carry. He was in favor of the 'assault weapons ban', which was a joke as it did nothing but outlaw they way guns looked. He would also ban semi-automatics. So what Osama and the Democrats would do, is eventually ban everything except for the sportsman who shoots lead-free pellets. All the while proclaiming their support for the 2d Amendment. Democrats are slime.
So Sarah Palin is exactly right. If the Democrats and Osama could get away with it they would certainly ban guns.
Reminds me of a conversation I had with a lib-in-law who indignantly proclaimed that no one should own a “semi-automatic”.
I said “what is a semi-automatic”?
To his credit, he said “I don’t know.”
And, by the way, DS, if you’re still around, the UN Small Arms Treaty which every leftist in the 0bama admin supports bans the private ownership of “semi-automatic” firearms.

Can’t tell you how many people have no idea what the difference is between a “wheel” gun, a “bolt action” gun, a “pump” shotgun, a “semi-auto” gun...or a black powder rifle.
This is why we need to get as many first-time gun buyers to buy as possible. Only when they see that their gun is private property, and taking them away is tantamount to theft, will they care at all.
No one should be able to take away that which another person has paid or been given.
