There was an unwritten journalistic rule that only Nixon was allowed to be called an ex-president since he resigned in disgrace. Clearly that rule doens’t apply anymore.

Funny how other past presidents are called former Presidents, but abc calls Bush, ex-president. Since they rarely referred to him as President when he was, it is odd they now admit he was one.
Former vs. Ex -- something like the former Marine and Ex-Marine I wonder.
