Funny how other past presidents are called former Presidents, but abc calls Bush, ex-president. Since they rarely referred to him as President when he was, it is odd they now admit he was one.
Former vs. Ex -- something like the former Marine and Ex-Marine I wonder.

"ex-" has the connotation of shame attached to it, IMO. "Former" has the connotation of honor, and still honorable.
Think of the differences between Oliver North and John Murtha.
Just a way the media gets in their digs at Dubya. Nothing new.
